Angie Elle I don't think I hung onto it long enough to throw it out the window.

I watched the movie in hopes that it would be better than the book, but I didn't feel the leads had any chemistry at all. The movie was so emotionless.

The book and the movie were both a bust for me on this one! :(

PepsiGirl Actually,I just threw it across the room in disgust. It was like a sucker punch. Completely unexpected.

HEA- happily ever after

Asia I don't really remember the book nor the movie, having read and seen them time ago. But I do remember thinking that the ending of the novel was way to melodramatic than what it could have been. Of course, I am not saying that it is necessary a "happily - ever - after - ending" but I thought that it could have ended differently, even if with a sad ending.

Imke if you don't like sad and true endings why do you start reading Sparks' books? the are sad and i love that about it! the whole book they are struggling with their love and then they should come together at the end???? that wouldn't make any sense! they couldn't be together at first although they tried and wanted it and they couldn't be together at the end although they tried and wanted it. that makes sense to me! It's one of my favorite Sparks' books.

Shreya Kashyap Don't buy it, rather read it unless you are a hopeless romantic ! Just as simple as that ...

Bhawya ending was a bit rotten...but i really liked the book...some of its elements were exceptional...

you're right everyone has their own taste so I expressed mine.

Amber I like most NS books, but I did NOT like this one. It was too formulaic I think, which would have been fine but NS wasn't being subtle about it like in his others books.

Beth S. I loved the book and the movie, I didn't mind the ending at all. Heartbreaking, but worth the read.

Kathryn Colton i liked it but i definitely couldn't throw it because it was not mine.
