trying to merge editions

I'm trying to merge two editions as described in the librarian manual, but when I try to separate the edition to merge, I get this message: Sorry, you can't separate the most popular edition of a work.

If you delete an edition, the ratings and reviews will automatically merge with the most popular edition. You only need to separate them out if the edition you are trying to merge into is not the most popular one. I'm assuming the one you are trying to delete is not the most popular...

It should add the information about automatically merging with the most popular edition, and that the separating only needs to be done if you're not merging with the most popular edition.
