Danielle (danielle_desrochers) | 3 comments For those who have seen the pitiful state of my ticker and also the fact that I, much like some other people in this group, have my bachelor's degree in English Literature, know that I'm only counting the books I read on my own time. I've read a lot more for class but never really enjoyed them so I'm reading them again. For example, Sister Carrie by Theodore Dreiser, read it in college, didn't really like it cuz my class beat it to death but liked parts so I didn't count it and I'm going to try to read it again. :)

Ones I read and counted:
Board List:
As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner
Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad

Reader List:
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
Beloved by Toni Morrison
Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad
Hitchhiker's Guide by Douglas Adams
As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner

I was a little surprised not to find Rebecca, Pamela, Wives and Daughters and a lot of others on here but I look forward to reading (and rereading) the rest of both lists.
