New players please post below so we can set up your Readerboard name.
Best Readerboard name = unique name in First Name field of profile (GR user name)
Helpful Readerboard name = GR user name + unique identifier in Last Name field of profile

Last Resort Readerboard name = GR user name + location identifier in profile

NOTE: When several people have the same "basic" name, new players with the same "basic" name cannot use the "basic" name alone. Example: All Sara's must pick a unique name -- no new player can pick the name "Sara".

I plan on participating in my first challenge for fall. I don't see JenC on the list, so I'll use it since it's my GR username.
I'm Sheila on the list and since I am the only Sheila I will stay with the name Sheila
I am not new, but my name is not on the board. Cynthia called me Stephanie Anne. I put this in my post redo that was requested.
I also took this challenge off but am planning On doing the fall challenge. I usually use Rachel Lee which is unique from the above list

If possible, since there is no other Jennifer D., that is what I would prefer to use for the challenge. It is my GR user name so makes for consistency as well as ease of use for posting as I won't have to remember to add the country ofter my name. (The synapses aren't as sharp as they once were! LOL!!!)

I am currently RACHEL WA on the leaderboard, so I changed my first name field to RACH to be unique. Hope that works!

Oh Merlin, this could get confusing... But Caity isn't on the list...If you want you could put Caity-cat to make it a little less confusing, since there is a Cait. Or Caity G. Or... yeah. I'll let you decide what to put. O_O

as someone with a very common first name, I can understand and appreciate what the mods go through on those boards. Thank you (mods)! :)
Several challenges ago, I saw there was another Elizabeth and wondered how Cynthia would know which was which, so I added Alaska. I'm sure there is another Elizabeth somewhere in Alaska, but she'll just have to think up something else to differentiate herself!
Well this is my first time on the Readerboard, although I've been lurking around the group for a long time. Ummm...I don't imagine you're going to get too many Gaijinmama's joining in so no confusion with my just using my regular old Goodreads name.

The Summer Tasks Challenge has been my first with this group. I would like my Readerboard name to be the same as my GR name which is Lindy-Lane.
I've been listed as Hannah PA on the Readerboard, but I tried changing my GR username to Hannah the Blonde (since that worked to distinguish me in college). Did I do it right?
I think I'm the only Tanya on the list so I'll stick with that for the Fall Challenge, unless you need me to change it.
Would it be possible for me to just be Rhea on the list instead of Rhea (Laura NY)? I'm kind of regretting ever putting that I'm Laura from NY up since I'd rather my family not track what I'm reading.

We have so many different lists at the moment (for the Fall 20 point tasks) that making the changes now would be more work than we can handle.
I am in the midst of making a list that will show the "cleaned-up" names we will use for the Fall Challenge (Readerboard and in Fall Task Titles) -- should be posted by the end of the week.

Did I do it right?"You changed your name in the Last Name field of your profile -- which is helpful because it shows when the cursor hovers over the avatar -- but that's not your GR username.
You need to change your name in the FIRST Name field of your profile to change your GR username -- that's the easiest for the moderators.

The fall challenge will be my first. I think I'm the only Renee, so I will use that as my readerboard name.
My current Readerboard name is Morgan US but I would like to change it to Morgan P, as I am changing my actual Goodreads name to that. Is that okay?
