Thanks!"
I received the book! Thanks again, Kristel.

Judith, I would mooch the book from you at either site. There are several copies available at PBS so not sure which one is yours as we are not friends over there. If you want to post at bookmooch and reserve for me, that would be great.

Cheers!
Judith

Friend me on PBS (elise327) and let me know what books you're interested in, and I'll be happy to reserve them for you!

Elise, I would be interested in The Master, The New York Trilogy, measuring the World, Justine, well maybe all but would prefer Bookmooch as I have more points there. I can do two over at PBS. Let me know.

OOooh! If Measuring the World is posted to Bookmooch, i want it!

If the book has no copies in the system,
-the receiver needs to add that specific ISBN to his Wish List
-the poster can post it directly to that specific person's WL
If the book has no Wish List,
-the poster just posts it to her shelf
-the recipient can request the book off that person's shelf, provided he knows her PBS ID and can thus browse her shelf.
Hope this makes sense.

Thanks! That does kind of make sense, but what if there are other people in the system who have already put the book in their Wish List? I tried to reserve Measuring the World for Judith, but as soon as I put it in the system it was reserved for someone else.

ETA: I am sending a friend request on PBS.
You have to be on Judith's page (WL) in order to post it directly to her. If you go through the book's "profile" page it would go to whoever is first in the queue.

Alas, Sophie, I live in the U.S. and cannot join the book swap group you are a member of because I do not reside in the UK. Also, I usually restrict my swaps to within the U.S. in order to stay within my book budget. If I see a title that is really hard to find in the U.S., I'll make an exception though, so please keep posting what you have to offer from "the lists"!

Just added a lot of 1001 books to the Goodreads swap if anyone is interested

Anybody have a book they haven't yet posted there but are willing to?
Thanks!

Anyone within the U.S. have anything to post and trade on bookmooch.com?

Sure. Yes, I enjoyed Cat's Eye. I think I gave it 4 stars. My mom read it and she gave it 5 stars. I really like Atwood. Not as good as A Handmaid's Tale, but good.

Olympia, I am a member there, too. I like it better than bookmooch because I can purchase points when I see a book I'm looking for there and don't have any points from trades to use. Do you have some of the 1001 List books posted there?
Books mentioned in this topic
Cat’s Eye (other topics)Midnight’s Children (other topics)
The Postman Always Rings Twice (other topics)
Spring Flowers, Spring Frost (other topics)
The Master (other topics)
