I have no idea if I have posted my introduction here or not, well if I have, here it is again.Well, I'm Collette, I am Scottish and live in Australia.
Okay, so, once upon a time when I was 16 a little movie called twilight came out, due to my obsession with vampires I had to see it, I had no idea what it was about only that it had vampires. So I saw it and I loved it, I was so Team Edward, at this time the only thing I would read was Harry Potter, so I decided to get the twilight books, in Scotland (I was there for a holiday...I swapped Aussie summer for Scottish winter, smart right?) and they were on sale, I read and I read and I read and I was all "OMG, Edward! Marry me!" *shame*
Then, I read some new books, Vampire Academy was the first post twilight series I read, and it got me thinking, Why in the heck did I like twilight, So I re read them (at this point I was 17 and much maturer) and I couldn't and then I thought, well, Bella sucks and Edward sucks and who does Smeyer think she is making Vamps sparkle?!
And thus, my hatred for all things twilight began...
Well, if we haven't posted it already, WELCOME TO THE GROUP! :DThat's basically my story too... except the thing that saved me was Harry Potter. I decided the read the entire series again before watching Half Blood Prince in 09.

My Twilight story is kinda sad in a way. When I was in sixth grade (before any of the movies came out or anything) my friend wanted me to read Twilight. She then lent me her copy of the book. I read the first page and a little bit of the next page and returned the book to her, saying that I didn't think I'd like it. (or something like that) Either way, with the book returned I never thought about it again...Until my friends dragged me to see the movie...And alas, my judgement was clouded and I became slightly obsessed with the books. It wasn't until a few years later that I came to my senses. It ashames me to say that I did not trust my original judgement of the book.
