We'll need to wait and see if she was...

And if you were, Miss, IT'S THE WORST JOKE EVAZ!!

message 1202: by Miss Silvertongue (new)

Miss Silvertongue (misssilvertongue) | 2006 comments GSGS, Reese Witherspoon is in Water for Elephants as a love interest for RobP.

message 1203: by GSGS, I'm giving ANYONE Butterbeer. (new)

GSGS | 3406 comments Mod
Meh. Like I said, I've never heard of Water for Elephants. I don't spend my time googling celebrities, unlike SOME people.
I thought you were randomly pulling out the 'NO, WITH A KNIFE!' joke.

message 1204: by Miss Silvertongue (new)

Miss Silvertongue (misssilvertongue) | 2006 comments I don't google celebs. You just hear these things. On the internet (via Facebook, Youtube, Ninemsn etc.),

message 1205: by GSGS, I'm giving ANYONE Butterbeer. (new)

GSGS | 3406 comments Mod
Well, it often sounds like you do!! And I don't often use any of those sites.

message 1206: by Miss Silvertongue (new)

Miss Silvertongue (misssilvertongue) | 2006 comments I just know this stuff. Mostly from Youtube.

message 1207: by GSGS, I'm giving ANYONE Butterbeer. (new)

GSGS | 3406 comments Mod
OK. As long as you don't say the Reese W. joke, I'm happy.

message 1208: by Miss Silvertongue (last edited Mar 18, 2011 10:47PM) (new)

Miss Silvertongue (misssilvertongue) | 2006 comments That was funny though (at the time). Funny but lame. :)

message 1209: by GSGS, I'm giving ANYONE Butterbeer. (new)

GSGS | 3406 comments Mod
I just say lame. However I had heard it before.

message 1210: by Miss Silvertongue (new)

Miss Silvertongue (misssilvertongue) | 2006 comments Hey, it was during maths. Anything joke that distracts me is funny. :)

message 1211: by GSGS, I'm giving ANYONE Butterbeer. (new)

GSGS | 3406 comments Mod
XD true.

message 1212: by Miss Silvertongue (new)

Miss Silvertongue (misssilvertongue) | 2006 comments Oh man I'm so bored.

message 1213: by GSGS, I'm giving ANYONE Butterbeer. (new)

GSGS | 3406 comments Mod
And you're not even in maths!

message 1214: by Miss Silvertongue (new)

Miss Silvertongue (misssilvertongue) | 2006 comments Ok, I went back in time to the first page of the discussion until page 8 and I didn't see it so.... (but I think it's been said. Anyway...)

248. All the new books or books that have been reprinted now have a quote from Stephenie Meyer or a comparison with Twilight. Not only do we not care about Meyer's opinion but they've just sold their book to the book devil. Whoever that may be...

message 1215: by GSGS, I'm giving ANYONE Butterbeer. (new)

GSGS | 3406 comments Mod
I think we may've had that one, but never mind. I think you went more in depth.

message 1216: by Miss Silvertongue (new)

Miss Silvertongue (misssilvertongue) | 2006 comments XD

249. They're so desperate. On all for of my Twilight books, on the back cover, they use the same quote from the Times.
"Encapsulates perfectly the teenage feeling of sexual tension and alienation."

message 1217: by GSGS, I'm giving ANYONE Butterbeer. (new)

GSGS | 3406 comments Mod
Ahahaha. I don't know how the critics could stand it.

I REMEMBERED ONE!

250. OK, at Italian school, a girl, Liana, was telling me about her Latin teacher. He wears a Twilight badge and always asks a girl in Liana's class the questions, because her name's Bella. He says, "Say it Bella. Say it out loud."
WHAT? I THOUGHT TEACHERS WERE IMMUNE!! *headdesk*

message 1218: by GSGS, I'm giving ANYONE Butterbeer. (new)

GSGS | 3406 comments Mod
AND THAT'S 250!! -CELEBRATION TIME-

Aaaaaaaand now I need to follow up on my promise. It may take some time, people, but keep nagging me.

message 1219: by Miss Silvertongue (new)

Miss Silvertongue (misssilvertongue) | 2006 comments *Nag. Nag. Nag. Nag.*

No, wait.

*Bother. Bother. Bother. Bother. Bother*

XD

Miss Silvertongue (misssilvertongue) | 2006 comments ONE QUARTER OF THE WAY THROUGH!!

Maybe you could start a new discussion with all the reasons but not allow people to comment. Or just reserve three other comment boxes.

message 1221: by GSGS, I'm giving ANYONE Butterbeer. (new)

GSGS | 3406 comments Mod
Wait - what do you mean?

message 1222: by Miss Silvertongue (new)

Miss Silvertongue (misssilvertongue) | 2006 comments Well, once you've collaborated all the reasons, what are you going to do?

message 1223: by GSGS, I'm giving ANYONE Butterbeer. (new)

GSGS | 3406 comments Mod
Post it in a new topic.
I might close it straight away so people can't comment, though.

message 1224: by Miss Silvertongue (new)

Miss Silvertongue (misssilvertongue) | 2006 comments Yeah, that's what I meant. The other 750 reasons are going to take a while....

message 1225: by GSGS, I'm giving ANYONE Butterbeer. (new)

GSGS | 3406 comments Mod
...
Just a little.

251) The Italian sub teacher I had today who's only been out of Italy for 2 weeks asked someone in Italian if they liked Twilight.
Uh... so his impression of Australia so far is that we all like Twilight? Whaaaaat??

message 1227: by Miss Silvertongue (new)

Miss Silvertongue (misssilvertongue) | 2006 comments Oh that is so sad.

message 1228: by GSGS, I'm giving ANYONE Butterbeer. (new)

GSGS | 3406 comments Mod
IKR!!
We were learning about adverbs, saying things like 'already', 'just', 'yet'.
Our example we had to write in our books for 'yet' was 'Io non ho giu visto Twilight.' Meaning, I haven't seen Twilight yet. I was tempted to write afterwards, 'and have no desire to do so.'

message 1229: by Miss Silvertongue (new)

Miss Silvertongue (misssilvertongue) | 2006 comments You should've! :)

message 1230: by GSGS, I'm giving ANYONE Butterbeer. (new)

GSGS | 3406 comments Mod
Mmm. And he made us write out a recipe for tiramisu in Italian, in case there was a cute Italian guy who wanted us to make tiramisu. (awkward thing was that there were two guys in our class too... so, um, they want to impress a guy too, huh? 0_-). I didn't write out a recipe. I was just like, stuff this. He can make his own bloody tiramisu!!

message 1231: by Miss Silvertongue (new)

Miss Silvertongue (misssilvertongue) | 2006 comments Whoo go GSGS. :)

message 1235: by Miss Silvertongue (new)

Miss Silvertongue (misssilvertongue) | 2006 comments Oh no that wasn't sarcastic. We really need a sarcasm sign. Where's RCRC when she's wanted?

message 1236: by GSGS, I'm giving ANYONE Butterbeer. (new)

GSGS | 3406 comments Mod
I actually do have a picture of her holding up a sign that says 'sarcasm' XD

message 1237: by Miss Silvertongue (new)

Miss Silvertongue (misssilvertongue) | 2006 comments You do? But I think the italicised 'sarcasm' would do. :)

So many ellipses!!!

message 1242: by GSGS, I'm giving ANYONE Butterbeer. (new)

GSGS | 3406 comments Mod
Yeah, and one of them had too many dots *frowns*
And to emails!

message 1243: by Miss Silvertongue (last edited Mar 19, 2011 01:19AM) (new)

Miss Silvertongue (misssilvertongue) | 2006 comments Why do ellipses have to have 3 or 6 dots? Why not 3 and above?

message 1244: by GSGS, I'm giving ANYONE Butterbeer. (new)

GSGS | 3406 comments Mod
They can be 6 dots???

message 1245: by Miss Silvertongue (new)
