Cody (rolinor) did you like it? I can't stand I am really only like 12 pages into it and there was absolutely no attention grabber.

message 802: by Miss Silvertongue (new)

Miss Silvertongue (misssilvertongue) | 2006 comments But the thing is, not many books actually capture you from the first few pages, even if people say so...... They usually make that comment after they've read the whole book or a few more chapters after the first one so they think the first few pages are really good..... if you got that?

197?)Rosalie's story is better than Bella's....and it only took a few pages to tell

message 817: by Miss Silvertongue (new)

Miss Silvertongue (misssilvertongue) | 2006 comments Very good point! I so agree with you there. I think that Eclipse should've just told Jasper and Rosalie's stories. Stuff Bella and her arm/eye candy.

message 818: by Nexla (new)

Nexla (NexlaSweets) | 10 comments my second point is the fact that the better stories are told in a shorter amount of time.Twilight should have been no more than two books long, three at the most. All SM does is put completely pointless and boring filling inbetween good parts, then jacks the good parts up so that they match the darn filler stuff, like when bella plays with the refridgerator magnets and like 20 pages later she compares the two magnets to the Vampires and Werewolves. Why didn't she just compare them right away? It would have saved some trees by not printing the few pages.

That's also a smash on her writing. It's really easy to guess what she'll write, not a sign of a very good writer. She's so easily predictable that the only suprise I had was the baby(which was upsetting because VAMPIRES CAN'T HAVE BABIES!). all in all I think I made my point.

try fighting against that Twi-hards...
