I like the rotating 4 idea also, and we could always have one or two tasks that fit the theme, and the rest just normal, like Sandy said.

We could set up a new group called Pick Your Own Name and set up a poll on that for the new title. That group then turns into our new group. We could also use that group for the Autumn Suggestions. That way we won't be duplicating anything on here and can't then get in trouble for copying!
I like the idea of fours! maybe 5-pt tasks could revolve around the fours, and the remaining tasks could remain open as they are now.
I like 4 The Love of Reading Challenge. And I love the idea of having themes for each challenge, even if they weren't all themes of 4 things - we still will do 4 each year!
4 the Love of Reading Challenge with different themes of 4 each year sounds great. I think it will expand the creativity that already abounds in this group. There would be more to look forward to as the themes are changing. And I think it also makes a fundamental difference between the current challenge group and the new group, which should help the moderators in setting up the new group.
The Theme idea is interesting. What happens after a few Challenges and we run out of 4-piece themes? Would the Theme idea be limiting after a few Challenges?

We've kept the seasonal theme going for multiple challenges so you can always reincorporate that for themes, but you wouldn't be limited.
I think when we name it we should make sure that it is known that it is a challenge. That is how I found and was intrigued by this group.

Looking 4 Books in So Many Places Challengeprobably not a good idea -- the song will be stuck in my head all the time

I'll be singing the song "Tis the Season to be jolly" all the time if this one is chosen!!
I like the rotating 4's as well. I only have one issue/concern - since we are wanting to name the club ASAP. Shouldn't we see how many people want to vote for the rotating 4's first (see if it gets the most votes) and then have a poll for which rotating 4 we want to start with? I had a point here but I might have lost it!
How about:Going with the 4 theme since there will be a new theme every year

The 4 Seasons ChallengeI'm not sure I quite understand what you mean by a rotating theme. Sorry if this is just me being really thick!

Ok I think I've answered my own question by reading back through the whole thread!! Yes it was just me being thick - or rather me not reading everything!
If it's different themes we don't really necessarily want the word season in the group title do we as we're not using the seasons in the title of each challenge?

Season kind of works for it still though since we will still be going mostly by the months the seasons begin and stuff. But I am ok for a name with or without season in it.
Well it looks like we won't be going through the NAME thing, but will we still be trying the rotating 4 theme.
Nothing to add, but wanted to say that you guys are SO creative! I love the idea of the rotating 4s theme. I think it will be so much fun!
I like BOOKS 4 All SEASONS. There is another group called "For the Love of Reading" on Goodreads. Don't know if having another group so closely named would be a good idea.
I think the name would stay the same, just the theme would change within the group, if that makes sense.
