Tuesday 03 August 2010 A big thanks to all who came to this afternoon's meeting where we discussed Carlos Ruiz Zafon - The Shadow Of The Wind. It was agreed by all that it was an excellent book and a page turner, especially as it was a translated book, you would never have known that. Although some of the members, not me!!, realised some of the plot early on, it was still enjoyed. One of the members had read it back in 2005 but had not enjoyed it then, but on re-reading it now, found that she couldn't put the book down, and had forgotten most of it. An absolute 5/5 for last month's read. Hope all have a wonderful August and look forward to seeing members at the September meeting where we will be discussing my choice, Sue Monk Kidd - The Secret Life Of Bees.
