I don't know how many people are familiar with the outstanding webcomic xkcd, by Randall Munroe. He's on Wikipedia's list of notable Browncoats, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Browncoat) and some of his strips directly reference Firefly. This strip: http://xkcd.com/577/ is the first of five consecutive strips, and this strip: http://xkcd.com/311/ also references Firefly. Enjoy.
