I wasn't sure if I wanted to add this discussion, since there are probably a lot around, but I did anyway. I actually didn't know Twilight existed until Breaking Dawn was published and everybody went bananas over it. Then I read them all in a week.

I didn't know about them until the movie came out.I loved the movie so decided to read the books.I read them in only 1 week but Twilight is the best one of the series.
I am Team Edward.Who is Jacob anyway! :O

Twilight, for me, ushered in all the other vampire books in the genre. If it hadn't been for Twilight, we might not be talking about some of these books now! So that was a good thing.

Same here. After I read Twilight, I began to read more vampire oriented books.

I'm completely addicted to them. One of the first questions I always ask when I grab a new book is, "Are there vampires in it? Does it look like there could be?" It's sad, really.

I totally agree.After reading Twilight I am looking for more vampire books.I simply couldn't get over vampires after Twilight.That series was really addicting.

It's funny how now we have all these books about good vampires when before they were mostly bad and now I'm trying to find books with bad vampires again!

Oh really you are looking for bad vamps?Then I think you will find Passage interesting.

[Holly]

Bad vamps are so refreshing after you've read Twilight lots of times. The Cullens are so rigid about their style (which is good for Bella), but then you want something to wash that down with and I find it in vamps that kill mercilessly. Don't know why, but I love them too.

I totally understand.After rereading Twilight so many times I was longed for something different and not saint like vampires like the Cullens.They are vamps after all.There's no glory if not some killing.

There was one book by Amanda Marrone that I thought was awesome. I think it's called Revealers. Those vamps are totally different from the Cullens.

Ok, this one I would never understand, ever... What's so good about it anyway? Maybe I'm just too old for it? It's all about I love you - No, you can't- But I do...blah, blah, blah and no action, no plot at all... And Bella is so totally Mary Sue and everything... And 'bout bad vamps, there still are few like Magic Bites which I totally love;P

Anyone heard of the Twilight spoof called Vampires Suck? It's coming to theaters in a week and I want to see it really badly. Check it out on youtube!

I know! I love that one line, goes something like this:
James: Do you know who we are?

James: Why does everyone guess that?

Oh, I want to see that so bad, but I'm going to be so busy coming up that I don't know when I'm going to be able to go to the theaters to see it! I may just have to wait for the DVD or something.

Haha, thats the funniest part, and "Jake why do you have to take your shirt off every 10 mins?" "Because it's written in my contract."

It looks so good, I think I'm going to see it with my friends after it comes out :)

That was good. I saw a new commercial the other day that had some new scenes. I died laughing and then had to explain them to my brother, who's never seen Twilight.

There was one when Bella, or "Becca" as she called in this movie, is on the motorcycle trying to see Edward. She's like, "I feel so safe with you." Then she flies off the bike and he reaches out his arms to catch her, but she flies right through him. He goes, "Oops. My bad."

Oh and I loved this other one where they're making out on "Becca"'s bed and she said, "Let's go all the way." He throws her off the bed and holds up his hand. There's a ring on his finger and he smiles and says, "Purity ring."

It's all funny. I'm glad there's a spoof that's actually good. Some of them just suck.

I know, it looks absolutely hilarious! I really want to see it! I don't know when I'll get the chance though. All the trailers I've seen of it look really funny, but my favorite is probably the one with the purity ring. I laughed so hard when I saw that one.

Me too! That was priceless! I'd watch it just to see that part! Of course, everything looks hilarious. I think they put a lot of thought into the jokes because they're all pretty much true to an extent. Those are always the best jokes.

Yea, I think so too. I actually had no idea that they were making a spoof off Twilight until I saw the trailer for it a couple days ago. I was shocked actually. Now I can't wait to see it and it comes out next week, which is awesome! :)

One of my very movie-savvy friends was like, "You've got to check out this trailer for a movie called Vampires Suck." And he and I don't see eye to eye on movies, so I was a little leery. Then it came on TV and I was like, "This is hilarious!" So I looked it up on Youtube after that.

I saw Vampires Suck last night with my friend. It was good, but I thought it'd be better. There were some pretty funny parts, but I think I expected to much from it.

I've heard that a lot. I'm thinking maybe about waiting for it to come out on DVD before I see it. It probably won't take that long.

Yea probably not. Worst comes to worst, just watch it online lol
