Hi,
I emailed the magazine to see if it's sold here in the States. Barring that, I'll have my husband(I can't operate our home scanner!), scan it and the cover/table of contents in-I need this for my website anyway. If/when I get that done, I'll attach to an email.
Thanks!

Patricia Puddle (trishapuddle) | 28 comments Hello Jodi and Magda, sorry I haven't caught up in ages. Life is just so busy.
Lovely to meet all of you other children's authors.

I'm also a children's book author and illustrator. I have three series going at the moment. My Rascals series is for reluctant readers aged five to eleven, though older children seem to love them too. So far there are two books in this series: Star-Crossed Rascals & Rascals Sing at The Opera House.

My second series is Adventures of Molly Mavis Gumnut. So far one book: Molly Gumnut Rescues a Bandicoot. I'm editing the second one at the moment.

Third series: Velvet & Roseberry. One so far: Velvet Ball and The Broken Fairy. I'm halfway through the second in this series.

All my books come as paperbacks and eBooks and are also bought by many pensioners and adults. It seem they also like the slap-stick humour.

Here is my Amazon page: http://www.amazon.com/Patricia-Puddle...

And here is my blog:http://trish-mollygumnut.blogspot.com...

Hi, I am an author from NJ with four published adult novels. I have just started and published the first of my children's series. It is about a group of misfit nuns who solve little mysteries while teaching Gospel lessons. As a child, I loved the Nancy Drew series and was therefore inspired to write my own series. I need reviews and critiques and would be glad to send 10 free copies of the book to anyone interested. My email is donegalarizona@yahoo.com and my website is www.karenkellyboyce.com Follow my blog! or critique my book. Thanks, Karen Kelly Boyce

Gail Hedrick | 120 comments Hi,
I just read the excerpt on Amazon, and it's a precious, fun, informative book. The photos are terrific-do you take them?
I apologize for not doing more research, but is this part of a series? Seems like it would be a winner all over the world.
Best wishes for great success!

Patricia Puddle (trishapuddle) | 28 comments Gail, I'm not sure if you're referring to my book or someone above, but if you are asking about my Molly Gumnut book above I did take the photos, most when I looked after an injured baby bandicoot. I also took photos of the inside of a derelict house, which inspired one of the main scenes in the story.

The Adventures of Molly Gumnut is a series and this book is the first. The second one needs a little more editing before I publish, but hopefully it will be soon.

Patricia Puddle (trishapuddle) | 28 comments Gail, thank you for you kind comments about my Molly Gumnut book. :) As well as a children's author, and illustrator, I'm a member of a wildlife rescue in Australia. I photograph the animals I care for as well as the ones that surround our property. We live in a country village in the middle of a forest and below are garden is wetlands.

Kangaroos, wallabies and other animals graze in our garden and I love taking photographs and videos, (which I show on YouTube) The animals inspire new stories so I added the character Molly to make a children's series. I have another one out soon.

The photos in the first one are of the baby bandicoot I looked after and the girl is my nine-year-old niece. We have a river nearby in out estate so I got great photos. Plus I go for a bush walk everyday and take my camera with me. That's when I saw the derelict cottage which inspired a scene where Molly stays when she runs away with the bandicoot.

Though I use photos for Molly, with my other books I do Illustrations.

I'll let you know the next time Molly is free on Amazon so you can download it.
