So how does work?
Each genre that I can think of (or someone else informs me of) will have it's own topic. If the Paranormal thread gets to be too large then we'll let each supernatural creature have it's own topic, otherwise, it will have to be content with it's own comment box. Likewise, Romance will have three comment boxes; one dedicated to historicals, another dedicated to contemporaries, and a third to all others labeled misc. Again if the any specific type proves to be too large we will try to split it into its own separate topic.
So within each Genre topic you will notice the Following header:
***** If you Like <==> You may also like (and vice versa)
Please note that <==> denote the separation of the two books, authors or series that someone is recommending. I will attempt to keep the authors separate from the books, the books separated from the series, etc. Each coupling will have only one acknowledgment so, for example:
Patricia Briggs <==> Kelley Armstrong
WILL NOT ALSO BE LISTED AS:
Kelley Armstrong <==> Patricia Briggs
So you will need to search for your author. Why am I doing this? To cut down on my typing and conserve space. I will try to keep all author recommendation together, all series recommendations together, and all book recommendations together.
Notice the five spaces before each recommendation? If there are any asterisks there it means someone besides the original person who made the recommendation agreed with it. I will let it go as high as 5 asterisks (five people showing their approval). Also, if there is no <==> That means the book/author/series was recommended (no if you like this you may like... - Just an old fashioned recommendation) by someone and the asterisks apply to this as well.
So what do you need to do?
Participate and make recommendations. We'll need them for this to work. Please no cross over genres. That would complicate things.
Can you give me an example?
