Carlette Odemwingie (oco705) | 10 comments I am running out of books to read so i need help....

Angela Sunshine (angelasunshine) What type of books do you like? Action, romance, paranormal?

I loved Unwind by Neal Shusterman, The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater, Wake by Lisa McMann and Graceling by Kristin Cashore. I loved many more than that, of course, but those are some of my top recommendations.

Jodie (jzb_my_1_only) | 3 comments The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare City of Bones, City of Ashes City of Glass, City of Fallen Angels. The 4th book in her series doesn't come out until March 2011. Cassandra Clare also has a prequel to this series called the Infernal Devices. The 1st book in it's trilogy Clockwork Angel comes out Aug. 31st 2010 =)

Mittyl | 3 comments I really liked the series too, but thats alot of books, do you think she can keep them interesting without making them crazy weird? that's what usually happens when it comes to the last book in the series and i wasnt so sure i'd want to read another book incase it got crazy weird.

message 22: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (peanutty222) I agree wiht you Mittly, I do hope she make the books worth continuing the series, otherwise it just ruines it. I read Wake and Fade and was so disappointed withGone. Also The Summoning and The Awakeningwere good, but the end of The Reckoning just didn't seem finished.

message 23: by Pammy (new)

Pammy (pbrutz) | 3 comments I love The Mortal Instruments too, and yeah hopefully with 3 more books it'll still be good.

message 24: by Tammy (new)

Tammy Cordeiro (devadasi7) | 4 comments On her website, she talked about it. She said that she had originally only planned to do the 4th book with Simon's story. But as she was writing, some things happened in the book and then she couldn't seem to make things follow her outline. At a writing retreat, she took the "problem" to some of the other participants, who pointed out that there was a lot more going on than what she had planned. They actually suggested that the characters were pointing to more story! : ) So I think the whole thing sort of happened organically. She wasn't originally planning to publish books 5 and 6. She said that she had to go back and convince her publisher that the books would work!

message 25: by Nina (new)

Nina | 32 comments A great book is The Last Full Measure by Ann Rinaldi. It's historical, but really good! You should try it.

I just hope after the 4th book Cassandra takes the pressure off Clary and Jace's relationship. I think they've been through enough in 3 books, cant we just let them be happily together the rest of the books?
