I just finished Midnight's Daughter and I really liked it. Let me know what you think about "Almost to Die For" if you finish it before me or either way, would be fun to see if you liked/disliked the book.

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments Have you read her Cassandra Palmer series too? It's nice getting a different view on (some of the) same characters in Dory. :)

I will. Not sure when I'll read it, but it now has a home in my TBR stack. LOL!

message 118: by MJ (new)

MJ | 50 comments Yes I have! It's still too early to tell if I like Cassandra Palmer or Dorina Basarab better because I've only read one book from the Dorina Basarab series. But I really loved the Cassandra Palmer series and I'm impatiently waiting for the fifth book to be released.

I love them both, so it's hard to decide which is my fave of the two. But I think I'll go with Dory--I just like how she's a bit smarter than Cassie--sometimes Cassie has some TSTL moves. :)

But I will say, going into the Dorys after reading all the Cassies, I NEVER thought I would love them. I mean, seriously, there's NO PRITKIN! :)

So...if it is referring to a street, it works. If it's referring to a royal court, it doesn't. :)

Hahaha okay, I wanted to read "Cast In Courtlight" I could've used the light part on Product of Fire but I had another book in mind for that one so I've been trying to find a way to fit it into another category :P but if its acceptable for street than I can finally start reading it :P Thanks Judithe, Laura Lulu and Sandra!

A royal court is basically a king or queen's entourage--the lords & ladies who are the hangers-on of the monarchy. It's a group of people--the same as a club, posse, gang, etc. are groups of people.

Maybe Courtlight refers to a courtyard? Who knows. :)
