I, ioo, loved JANE EYRE. In high school and college, I'd read it at lest once a year. I liked the book's goth romantic sensibility. Then, years later, I discovered its sequel, WIDE SARGASSO SEA by Jean Rhys--which takes a very different perspective from the original story.
