You should try to get the chance to read Stake That. Trust me, it's worth it. :D And no, the fifth book is not the last one, there's another one after that. It's coming in August 2. So exciting!

Currently reading the Better Part of Darkness by Kelly Gay. I'm in the second chapter and love it! I'm not sure if it has vamps in it, but it has lots of other supernatural creatures.

She writes in first person POV like I do and she did a great job with world building.

Well I definitely enjoyed them. Brigg's writing style makes it easy to get sucked into her novels, whether it's Mercy or not. Although I would have to say I like her Mercy Thompson series better, it doesn't mean Alpha and Omega isn't great. Same world, same concepts, just different characters and setting.
