2. How did you become an fan of Anne Stuart?
I stumbled upon Blue Ice and promptly finished the series in a month or so. Ironically, I had read and like some of her older Harlequins, but didn't make the author connection until recently.
3. What are your favorite books of hers?
All of the Ice series, esp Cold as Ice
4. Why do you like Anne Stuart?
She can redeem a seemingly unredeemable hero.

1.Name: Ana
2. A friend lend me a copy of Lord of Danger about a decade ago and I happily devoured everything I could find by AS after that.
3. That is really a though question, a couple of years ago I would say To Love a Dark Lord but now I'm not sure and I think I'll have to reread a few. I gave top marks to Chasing Trouble, Cinderman, A Dark and Stormy Night and Right Man.
4. She has a very original voice, a humour and writing style that I love, chooses very original and unlikely plots and can write a bad boy like no other.
Off to see if there's a Rohan thread somewhere on this group...

1. My name is Krissie. In fact, it's Anne Kristine Stuart Ohlrogge, so you know what that means. You can still diss anything you want -- I won't be offended.
2. How did I discover ... I got through a lousy childhood by making up stories.
3. My favorites? Well, oddly enough, NIGHTFALL (which gets very mixed reactions. It's just been reissued and I reread it and still adore it). Black Ice and Ice Storm. Lady Fortune. Night of the Phantom.
In fact, I tend to love almost all of them. I can split them into Good, Better, Best (with the occasional stinkeroo) but my taste has nothing to do with the actual merit of the book. Some people adore the books I disliked, and the opposite. (See NIGHTFALL and MOONRISE.)
4. Why do I like me? Well, clearly I write heroes that appeal to me, heroines that I identify with, plots that interest me, sex that turns me on, humor that makes me laugh ... I'm my own perfect reader.
Wow! I'm so excited to see you joined our humble group, Ms. Stuart! Welcome!!!

Glad to be here.

2. How did I discover: can't recall, but did spend years (BEFORE the internet) tracking down Every Single Book ever written by Ms. Stuart. There's one I keep in plastic wrap because I paid more than $100 for it. I don't just read all her books, I re-read them constantly.
3. Favorites: Falling Angel, One More Valentine, Shadows at Sunset, Ritual Sins...and half a dozen more
4. Why I like her: great combination of humor and sex, but even better is that she can take a man on the edge and bring him back from the precipice. No one else can create heroes who might as easily kill as kiss the heroine!
Welcome, Diane! I hope to get all of Anne Stuart's books. I have most of them, but the Demon Gothic series is pretty pricy.
Honestly, I have gotten where I almost want to skip love scenes, but I always look forward to AS's love scenes.

Yes, all the Candlelit Romances are out of print and were in limited editions to begin with, so they're very expensive.

2. I discovered Anne Stuart when I randomly bought To Love a Dark Lord at the grocery store when it was first published. It was love at first read.
3. My absolute favorite is still To Love a Dark Lord. Other favs are Breathless, Nightfall, Shadow Lover, Ice Blue, and Risk the Night.
4. I love her yummy heroes! They're dangerous, sometimes villainous, men who fall deeply in love despite themselves. They're walking contradictions because they're also heroic and possess their own code of honor. They may want to kill or use the heroines, but at the end they can't help but falling in love with them. How romantic is that? I also enjoy her crisp writing, dark humor, and sexy sex scenes. I'm never bored. She is able to create mood and atmosphere with minimal fuss. I only read romantic suspense because of Anne Stuart.
So happy this group exists!

Thanks so much, Danielle! Glad to be here. :)
