What? Now D12 is in Colorado? Doesn't it say in the book clearly that D12 is in Appalachia? That makes it like hardly far away from the Capitol.
I know. And it's stupid that the pin's from Katniss' father instead of Madge.
This is sad, when the tabloids think they know about the books than we do. :/ And maybe that's not the script they're using. Maybe?
Honestly, i've gotten over the fact that it wont be JUST like the movie. Like with I Am Number Four. It wasnt exactly the same and things were changed. But I LOVED the movie as just a movie. And im excited to see what they do with The Hunger Games. And what changes. And just to see how they picture it.
Same here Braden. I'm really looking forward to it. And the changes in the link Josephine posted aren't major and will add to the excitement. Who cares who she gets the pin from? I think it makes more sense to have it from her dad anyway. I think Cinna had a deeper part in the books then what was made clear. I think he was from district 13 and was the one who started the whole rebellion. Not Katniss. Call my opinion weird, but it makes sense. He did all the outfit things that sparked it a lot. He requested district twelve(which I'm assuming was the closest to 13). He was the major part behind the rebellion. I think it would make sense to have Cinna and her dad be friends or something which could be where the whole mockingjay pin comes into play and all that. I don't know. I haven't read the book in close to a year, but I think there's a whole back story with Cinna and that he was the real person who started the rebellion. So I think having the pin from her dad makes more sense then Madge giving it to her anyway. Then having the scenes with the other characters watching will just add to the drama of the movie. I'm expecting it to be freakin' AMAZING! I need to read the books again to check over my Cinna theory. lol.
The book never says D12 is in the Appalachian mountains, in an interview I watched of the author she says that she leaves the location of each capitol to our imaginations. The Rockies and The Appalachians are both mountain chains that suit D12 well enough, I do agree Appalachians would have been better but oh well. I like that they are adding more behind the scenes footage with Gale and Haymitch it will make it more interesting.
I would have thought more of the pin if it came from her father over Madge, Madge was a very minor character who didn't do anything but give Katniss a pin. Her father on the other hand taught her everything she knows it makes much sense that she would take a part of him to the games with her.
Same here. :D I think they're only improving the amazing thing they have to work with.

Peeta still looks weird, and even though the Katniss picture is more drawing-ish (it's a digital manipulation of Jennifer Lawrence, BTW) it's still.. her. XD
She'll do nicely as Katniss... I don't like him as Peeta but if he's a good actor it will make up for it.

What is all over? OH, I get it. I saw that movie YESTERDAY. These kids were snickering when Snape was dying, and I wanted to use several unforgivable curses on them...
I was just thinking that it was an odd gesture. XD I nearly cried at all the death scenes. Poor Snape. Poor Fred. Poor Tonks. Poor Lupin. Poor Voldemort. Yup...this is not going to be a good movie, probably.I saw this YouTube series about warriors, and they have EVERYTHING like the book. Every line, every action, every character was perfect. They should make it like that.

No Cornucopia. Shame. It'll be trouble to reproduce the Cato death scene, then, if Katniss and Peeta have no Cornucopia to hang on. Maybe they'll use a tree.
