Yes, Rachel. I really enjoyed that series by Tricia Goyer. The Montana setting is nice. The story line does not disappoint.

Tricia Goyer's Big Sky series is wonderful! I loved being able to share Marianna's journey.

Makes you want to visit West Kootenai.
Just starting the Indiana Cousins trilogy by Brunstetter. I have the 3-in-1 book that was a bargain at HPBs for $6.99. I've made a couple of trips to IN Amish Country lately, so I've been wanting to read this one.
Daughter of Liberty (The American Patriot Series)by J. M. Hochstetler. Very good so farBlessings,Tina
6/7/13This is a truly interesting historical novel. It is written very well, and it is informative as well as entertaining. It does take some thought to keep track of the characters and plot lines, but it's well worth reading.
I'm currently reading A Cowboy at Heart by Lori Copeland and Virginia Smith on my Kindle. I'm 83% done. It is good. Review to come.
@Diane: On your July , 2010, post you mentioned reading The Storekeeper's Daughter. Did you read the Brides of Lancaster County series first if they were available at the time? Just curious because I recently listened to The Storekeeper's Daughter and thought some of the characters didn't make sense.I looked at this a spin-off series,
Finished A Cowboy at Heart yesterday. A good read. I just bought Katie's Journey to Love on my Kindle. Cannot wait to start it.
6/10/13This novel had a pretty slow start for me, but once I finally got into the story, I enjoyed it. The writing is good if a bit slower paced, and the characters are interesting. I'm not sure how I feel about the "premonitions" and "gut instincts" Rhoda experiences, but I do like how she likes to help people. Overall, a good read.

This book is on its way to my house and I'm looking forward to reading it.
6/11/13This was a fairly interesting novel that goes back and forth between 1942 and more-or-less present day. The parts dealing with the round-up of the Jews is depressing, but it's not graphic about anything, a fact that I appreciated. It was written fairly well, and it's emotionally grabbing, of course, but I didn't care too much for many of the characters although it was interesting to see the varying reactions and changes in the lives of the characters as they learned their connection to a very specific tragedy.
I am reading SummerHill Secrets volume one by Beverly Lewis and I really like it so far.
I am not familiar with Summerhill Secrets, Volume 1 by Beverly Lewis. Did I miss something? I see there is a whole series of these books.

I was surprised myself when I found it in my local library. The series was geared towards young adults.

OK. Thanks. I checked with my library and discovered it has these books. I guess I was unaware since it is geared toward young adults. Will have to check it out.

Tina, this is one of my very favorite books. Would love to know your final thoughts.
Part 3 in The Discovery serialization. I'm still enjoying this series, although this part didn't grab my attention as much as the first two.See my full review:

Having read all of Sayers' short stories about Peter Wimsey, I was excited to read some of the novels. They were very well-written, exciting, and interesting. I truly enjoyed them.
6/21/13This was a fun, sweet Christian romance. It's written well for the genre, and I enjoyed it a great deal. The characters were well drawn and interesting, and I liked how the story was about overcoming pride and stubbornness that keeps a person from true love and happiness.
I just finished Faith and Trust in Lancaster by Daisy Fields, which is also free on Kindle as of this moment. It is good. Definitely intriguing despite it's length.
6/23/13This is both a new favorite and a new author. I truly enjoyed this Amish novel. It's well written, entertaining, and has well drawn characters.

They get even better by the series. :)

Good to know, Brittany. Yes, eventually I'm going to carry on with these good series I've been starting. :) I've been doing so many books based on titles, authors, or themes for various challenges that sometimes I just miss my old habit of reading one series after another, but I'm trying to broaden my reading habits and vary my reading habits, and I'm succeeding however haphazard it can sometimes feel. :)
Hi everyone. I'm new to goodreads. I'm reading An Amish Kitchen. I'm really enjoying it. A sweet Amish romance. 3 books in An Amish Kitchen plus some Amish recipes at the back.
Welcome Kim! I enjoyed reading The Amish Kitchen. I enjoy listening to audio version of the book when I am cooking.

I've also read An Amish Kitchen and enjoyed it. Kelly Long is one of my favorite Amish fiction authors; she writes sweet romance.
Welcome to the group!
@Rachel: Is your copy of A Hopeful Heart by Amy Clipston lendable? I know you do most of your reading on Kindle, but I understand if it's not doable.
My review of Daisy Fields' second novella in her debut series should be available. Just type in her name and click the link to the title Faith and Trust in Lancaster.
My reviews for the two Daisy Fields novellas and the second volume of the Flowers of Heaven serial by Tori Simpson should be on Amazon in the next couple days.
I am listening to Sarah's Garden.http://www.audible.com/pd/ref=wl_1_5?...
I am reading Love Comes to Paradise.

This was such an interesting novel. I liked the characters, and I like how Marianna's journey is both physical and spiritual. A well-written and unique Amish story. I'm definitely looking forward to reading more by this author.
