Having a hard time deciding what to read next, Spring for Susannah, Naomi's Gift: an Amish Christmas Story, Schoolhouse Brides: Teachers of Yesteryear Fulfill Dreams of Love in Four Novellas, or A Place of Peace. Too many decisions!!!

I just finished [book:Naomi's Gift: an Amish Christmas Story and it was a wonderful & quick read!

This is a unique book in comparison to our normal Amish fiction book. I can't wait to hear what you think of it!

I'm about in the middle of it now. I'm finding the Shaker lifestyle bewildering, yet interesting! I thought it would be somewhat like a typical Amish novel, but it certainly is something quite different... almost cult-like, in a way...

I don't know which books you've read so far, so if you haven't read Cindy's The Hope of Refuge and The Bridge of Peace, you might want to hold off on reading The Harvest of Grace.

The whole series is great!

It's quite a different story about mixed up babies in the hospital 28 years ago! I can't wait to read how this works out!
Last night I started Naomi's Gift: an Amish Christmas Story by Amy Clipston. I shouldn't have had that third cup of coffee before the 1 hour + drive home from my daughter's concert -- 34% of the book read & wide awake at 3 A.M. -- and had to get up and go to work. But I'm loving the book!!
Reading Love Finds You under the Mistletoe. I finished the first story and I thought it was neat because I could really picture where it took place from. I live about 1 hour from Booneville, Ky and when I was an Extension Agent I had to travel to that county and sometimes we had meetings within the county and I heard people talking about Mistletoe. How neat is that! The first story was pretty good, now moving on to the second story which is a contemporary fiction.

I finished Naomi's Gift: an Amish Christmas Story by Amy Clipston a couple days ago & I really enjoyed it! Today I started reading A Log Cabin Christmas: 9 Historical Romances during American Pioneer Christmases while waiting for a meeting to start. I'm so glad it's warmer here that it was in the first story and no snow to be seen anywhere!

I finished An Amish Christmas by Patricia Davids while on our way to my in-laws. While we've been here, I've started & finished her The Christmas Quilt. Now I'm working on A Plain and Fancy Christmas by Cynthia Keller.
We were supposed to leave yesterday, but have car trouble & they couldn't look at it until this morning.

I wonder if Keller is planning to write a sequel. I would love to hear more about Rachel Yoder, as well as hearing more from this author.

The Christmas Singing by Cindy Woodsmall"
The Christmas Singing is a wonderful book. I wrote a review of it for Examiner.com. If anyone is interested in reading it here is the link =)

My aunt has read it and highly recommended it.

I am now re-reading Cindy Woodsmall trilogy "Sisters of the Quilt," story about Hannah Lapp, I still cry at how they treated this young girl and how she had to struggle so in her life.
I just finished Katie's Redemption and loved it! It reminded me of an earlier Beverly Lewis novel. I borrowed it from Amazon with my free Amazon Prime month trial. It said I could check out another book on Jan 1, since you can only check one book out a month. We will see and then I will check out the next book in the series The Doctor's Blessing

I love the"Plain" series! Read one, two, and three just need to get four whose name escapes me right now.
God bless,
Helen(grammea)

Sarah is a beautiful young amish woman with a "Green Thumb".

I've read all but the final book in that series and have to say that Plain Promise was my ultimate favourite!
& I'm with Camille, Sarah's Garden is a great book too, and the second book in the series is even better :)
Right now I'm attempting to finish a couple of books for university before my English exam on the 17th. I've been struggling through The Heat of the Day by Elizabeth Bowen and ultimately it keeps putting me to sleep, the descriptions are just too dense and tangential. So I've switched over to a non-fiction book, A Pacifist's War by Frances Partridge. And I'm about 1/3 of the way through To Win Her Heart by Karen Witemeyer which I'm listening to on audiobook while I do housework.

On the hunt for this months other group read now.

I've loved every one of her books that I've read!
