Who would you most like to see play a vampire in a Film?

Before I read anything anyone wrote, I saw Johnny Depp in my mind's eye as the one I'd choose! Of course!
He'll be the perfect "Barnabus," and he'd make a great vampire of any sort. Having grown up with the original "Dark Shadows" when I was a teen-ager watching after school...I always wished Barnabus were better looking. Thank God that Johnny Depp will finally be doing something about that!! LOL
I wouldn't; however, want him to make a farce of it as he has done on several of his movies. He's over-played his hand on "Pirates...." for my tastes.

Russell Crowe, Andy Garcia, Leonardo DiCaprio, Viggo Mortensen, Jake Gyllenhaul, Eric Bana (Time Travelers), Harrison Ford, Shia LaBeouf and Keanu Reeves; oh, and Clive Owen and Ewen McGregor to add some gentle soul and light-heartedness to the vampires!

I love your list Deborah, but I can see if they did cast Johnny Depp as a vampire that he would be in some movie to ruin vampires, such as Twilight or a Twilight knock-off (since there seems to be SO MANY of them by now). I think he'd be a good vampire, as long as he was being serious in it, and not a goofy character. He makes good serious roles, though he's good in comedy too, he'd be better as a serious role.
