I havent tried reading on my ipad yet, I'm just not sure how good it is for the eyes. Right now my Kobo needs to be charged but I lost my charger. I may have to go and buy another one if mine doesn't turn up soon.

The kobo uses a pretty common cable. It's probably interchangeable with a lot of different devices. I can't imagine that it would be too expensive to replace.

Hi Marla, you've come to the right place - it's crawling with readaholics:) I've got a sony TS11. Love that it's eInk, no glare so easy on the eyes, and when I travel I don't have to cart around a suitcase full of books. Welcome.

I am sorry to her that. I hope you get a chance to with the distraction of your allergies. I am interested to see how it will come together and end. I have heard thought the Grapevine, Stephanie Meyer is toying with coming back to Twilight with another series.

They shouldn't have killed her off,, I think she would have made a good addition to the Cullen Clan, I wouldn't see a movie about her though.

Elisabeth Wheatley | 4 comments Hi...I was invited to this group by Lindsay *waves* and so I checked you guys out and thought you looked pretty neat!

I read almost exclusively books with a paranormal element. I absolutely ADORE all things YA fantasy and I decided to write it a few years ago. Madeleine L'Engle and Sarah J. Maas are just two of my idols and I'm anxiously anticipating Erica Stevens' upcoming book that releases next month. (It's a YA dystopian paranormal romance with VAMPIRES!!! =D)

I'm pretty hooked on Goodreads and my goal is to infuse the internet with my consciousness via social media and thereby achieve immortality. I LOVE horses and green tea and my brothers and parents who think I'm addicted to my iPhone and computer. (Which is true.)

So that's me. =)

Donna (runawayreader) | 1 comments Hi, My name is Donna and I am a cheap book date, I read anything and cant stop until the last page. Am reading Anna Karenina for the first time now and am ashamed I took so long to read it. But not so ashamed that I wont confess my literary shortcomings. I also read books i find on park benches and garage sales, based on their cover and price. I shirk housecleaning for reading, I pretend to listen to others when I am thinking about reading. I do not post often, but am a good lurker and like to read what others write. Nice to meet you all and nice to be in this group. Thank you. dryan

Great to meet you Deidre! I'm sorry that the group has gone a little stagnant, but I'm always here ;)

I used to live in Christchurch! Where abouts are you? I live in Winnipeg now, which is a far cry from NZ. I miss it like crazy!

That's a beautiful area! I never did get to spend a ton of time on the North Island, but it's easy to love! <3

Right now? Cold. lol It's our winter, and Winnipeg is smack dab in the middle of Canada. We get ridiculously cold winters. It was -24 this morning, which is actually pretty mild, but next week is supposed to get up above freezing! That NEVER happens! When I was in NZ, I had Christmas breakfast on the beach!

We also have lots of mosquitoes, which is definitely something I miss about NZ. I would take wetas over mosquitoes any day! :P

Full Moon Bloodlust Poem

When the moonlight strikes me, I am filled with power. In an evil age, in my darkest hour. Death and Destruction are the pleasures of my life. A lonely life filled with agony. Here I stand upon this Ledge with sword in hand I hereby pledge. That in the full moon's waning light. I shall make my Sacrifice. The Fog drifts down the hills into my dark domain. My senses sharp and I Insane. Into the woods I go with the moonlight as my guide. I now creep like the mist and from my wrath you can not hide. I shall avenge all I have lost. Behold the coming of death with your now ending immortal life. I shall make my sacrifice. Unto the goddess of the night. I shall make my sacrifice.
