The kobo uses a pretty common cable. It's probably interchangeable with a lot of different devices. I can't imagine that it would be too expensive to replace.

Hi Marla, you've come to the right place - it's crawling with readaholics:) I've got a sony TS11. Love that it's eInk, no glare so easy on the eyes, and when I travel I don't have to cart around a suitcase full of books. Welcome.

Hello Genevieve, and welcome. Thanks for sharing your artwork, all so beautiful I can't pick a favorite. You've got some really interesting books on your shelves.

I am sorry to her that. I hope you get a chance to with the distraction of your allergies. I am interested to see how it will come together and end. I have heard thought the Grapevine, Stephanie Meyer is toying with coming back to Twilight with another series.

They shouldn't have killed her off,, I think she would have made a good addition to the Cullen Clan, I wouldn't see a movie about her though.

Thanks for joining us here, Ralph! I love to see such an eclectic taste in books. Something I can definitely relate to. :)

Hello Lynn, nice to meet you.

I read almost exclusively books with a paranormal element. I absolutely ADORE all things YA fantasy and I decided to write it a few years ago. Madeleine L'Engle and Sarah J. Maas are just two of my idols and I'm anxiously anticipating Erica Stevens' upcoming book that releases next month. (It's a YA dystopian paranormal romance with VAMPIRES!!! =D)
I'm pretty hooked on Goodreads and my goal is to infuse the internet with my consciousness via social media and thereby achieve immortality. I LOVE horses and green tea and my brothers and parents who think I'm addicted to my iPhone and computer. (Which is true.)
So that's me. =)
Oh, the new picture of snow on the trees is fantastic! I sure wish we would see some of this.

Donna, you could be my twin sister. My family tells me that I am deaf, because I never answer them when I am reading. Welcome.
Welcome to our newcomers! I will also skirt the house chores to spend even a few more minutes with my book. Much to the chagrin of my family. ;)

Your work is really quite lovely. Your online gallery is wonderfully put together. Much success with your art.
It's great to have you here, Vivek! Sorry I spaced out and didn't notice that we had a new member. Welcome! :)
Great to meet you Deidre! I'm sorry that the group has gone a little stagnant, but I'm always here ;)
I used to live in Christchurch! Where abouts are you? I live in Winnipeg now, which is a far cry from NZ. I miss it like crazy!

That's a beautiful area! I never did get to spend a ton of time on the North Island, but it's easy to love! <3
Right now? Cold. lol It's our winter, and Winnipeg is smack dab in the middle of Canada. We get ridiculously cold winters. It was -24 this morning, which is actually pretty mild, but next week is supposed to get up above freezing! That NEVER happens! When I was in NZ, I had Christmas breakfast on the beach!
We also have lots of mosquitoes, which is definitely something I miss about NZ. I would take wetas over mosquitoes any day! :P

Full Moon Bloodlust Poem
When the moonlight strikes me, I am filled with power. In an evil age, in my darkest hour. Death and Destruction are the pleasures of my life. A lonely life filled with agony. Here I stand upon this Ledge with sword in hand I hereby pledge. That in the full moon's waning light. I shall make my Sacrifice. The Fog drifts down the hills into my dark domain. My senses sharp and I Insane. Into the woods I go with the moonlight as my guide. I now creep like the mist and from my wrath you can not hide. I shall avenge all I have lost. Behold the coming of death with your now ending immortal life. I shall make my sacrifice. Unto the goddess of the night. I shall make my sacrifice.

Hey Dan! Nice to meet you! I'm afraid this group has become mostly stagnant, though we still check in from time to time. ;) Feel free to stay and chat, or trade book recommendations!
