Justeenetta, i do not know the answer to your question. However artist Man Ray had a similar quote. I think (this is a Big Summary, i think) that while painters might not be the most useful of professions, it is the least harmful of society.

my sister found the name of the psychiatrist: david wardell, he has 2 articles still in print, one on the unexpected? affects of tranquelizing drugs, 1968, but I guess the book is way op
