2 - I suffer from amnesia
3 - I have a Canadian woman on my side

message 137: by Bettie (new)

Bettie Hello Laura - isn't it annoying when work gets in the way? At least I can listen to books even though my hands aren't free.

Can't remember if I have read a book about an amnesiacal crime buster hahahahahaha

Seriously - I need another clue here.

message 138: by [deleted user] (new)

Hi Bettie - yes it is! Today it's my children that keep me from reading, but I can squeeze in a little game :)

1 - Medusa
2 - I suffer from amnesia
3 - I have a Canadian woman on my side
4 - My life turned around in Cambodia
5 - I have multiple identities
6 - I might have committed as many crimes as I solved

message 139: by Bettie (new)

Bettie Nope - no little bells ringing. When you say multiple identities do you mean schizophrenic propensity or aliases.

Interruptions by children sounds good fun

:O)

message 140: by [deleted user] (last edited Aug 25, 2010 08:31AM) (new)

Good fun, yes - provided they're not too loud ;-}

I meant aliases. He needs the Canadian lady to find out his real name.

1 - Medusa
2 - I suffer from amnesia
3 - I have a Canadian woman on my side
4 - My life turned around in Cambodia
5 - I have multiple identities
6 - I might have committed as many crimes as I solved
7 - I am in 3 books, and 4 more written by someone else
8 - Richard Chamberlain and Matt Damon impersonated me

Carol/Bonadie (bonadie) | 445 comments Ha! I confess I needed IMDB help after clue number 8 -- is that allowed? it had to be either Jason Bourne or Mr. Ripley.

And the answer is.... Jason Bourne.

message 143: by Bettie (new)

Bettie I also needed a smidgeon of help - asked hubby if it was Bourne when we were driving home.

Good quiz

message 144: by [deleted user] (new)

It's all about the game, so any help is fair I think. Good one on both of you, and the hubby! :D

His actual name is David Webb - on one mission he takes Bourne's identity, a traitor he executed years before.

Your turn(s) now, when you find the time sometime...

message 145: by Carol/Bonadie (new)

Carol/Bonadie (bonadie) | 445 comments Okay, I'll start one in a minute. In the meantime, it would be great if we could have a post maybe at the beginning of this topic that listed the protagonists we've already done.

message 146: by Carol/Bonadie (new)

Carol/Bonadie (bonadie) | 445 comments 1. I’m a PI
2. I’m funny (at least I think I am)

message 147: by [deleted user] (new)

Thomas Magnum IV? :)

In the mean time, here's a list of the Protagonists that came along:

Harry Bosch
Jason Bourne (David Webb)
Lucas Davenport
Johnny Dollar
Nancy Drew
Thorpe Hazell
Sherlock Holmes
Mr. Moto
Harry Potter
Easy Rawkins
Spenser
Nero Wolf

message 148: by Jan C (new)

Jan C (woeisme) | 39308 comments You forgot Elvis Cole.

But I don't think we had Sherlock Holmes.

message 149: by Bettie (new)

Bettie Well done Laura - that's kind of you to scoop 'em all up into a bundle for us.

I have a genuine quiz - I'm trying to remember a female sleuth that knits, as I mentally ticked that I would like some more of her but my memory box is empty
LOL

message 150: by Jan C (new)

Jan C (woeisme) | 39308 comments Of course, there is always Miss Marple.

Why don't you try google?

It looks like there is a mystery series featuring a knitter - and not Miss Marple - I just didn't pursue it long enough to find out who it was. It sounded way too cozy for me.
