Kem ran, and ran. she tried not to hyperventilate but she was scared. the police sirens were catching up to her. fast. she was crying. no. no. no. she wouldnt let them take her back. not back home. no. she kept running, kept crying. she looked ahbead of her and screamed in frustration. a dead end was coming up. the edge of a cliff. she had to stop now. she had no choice. no. no. no! she tought. and screaming through tears she ran off the cliff, and dissapeared beneath the stormy ocean waves below.

Kyra was speeding down the highway. She had gotten word that the drug dealer knew where she was, so she had started driving. She had no idea where she was. Seeing police lights she slowed way down.

"I dont have time for this," She murmmured.

Kem felt for sure she was going to die when she had jumped of that cliff. when she hit the grey raging waves, shedidnt know which way to swim. and it didnt seem to matter anymore. she'd had an okay life, despite being on the run constantly, and not having a friend in the world. she felt at first like she was drifting to sleep. but then a cold shock went through her and she kicked and thrashed violently in the water. she must have hit her head on a rock in the process and she blacked out, only to wake up much, much later, her head resting above water on a jagged rock. she hurt so bad. it hurt to remember. it hurt to move. she forced herself up onto the rock and slipped back into unconciousness.
