Rose strolled confidently along, Lissa by her side. The dhampir (Rose) noticed a girl sitting in a tree, and instantly her senses were alert.
"Get behind me," she hissed to her moroi best friend, Lissa. She did as she was asked.
"Who are you?" Rose asked cautiously.

[Sophia]

Rose calmed down a little. She didn't think this girl meant any harm.
Lissa poked out from behind Rose, calling out, "Hey! I'm Vasilisa Dragomir. But you can just call me Lissa." She smiled a gorgeous smile. "Come on, introduce yourself," she murmured to Rose, nudging her a little.
Rose sighed and called out to Elizabeth, "I'm Rosemarie Hathaway. But just call me Rose. And don't mess with me or I'll probably just mess up that pretty little face of yours."
Lissa hissed. "Rose!"
Rose shrugged at Lissa.

[Sophia]

Rose laughed. "That's all?"
She then climbed the tree in about 5 seconds flat, sitting across from Elli. She smirked.
Lissa sighed and yelled up to her guardian, "Rose, get down here, please. Don't be a show-off."
Rose stuck her tongue out at the Moroi, and Lissa tried to keep a straight face, but failed, ending up laughing.

[Sophia]

Rose jumped down from the tree, landing safely next to Lissa.
Lissa shook her head. "Oh, Rose. What are we gonna do with you."
Rose grinned. "Let me at a few guys who could use a good punch in the nose, for starters."
The Moroi rolled her eyes. "Yeah. 'Cause we all know THAT'S gonna happen."

[Sophia]

Rose nodded at Elli. "Bye."

Cassie peered down from the tree where she was enjoying her kill. Who were these guys? she decided to go and investigate.
