Holly's eyes scanned the quiet surrounding as she arrived for her early morning training. Her eyes shifted to the girl for a moment, before snapping to the broken bow on the ground. Already having seen Caspar, her guess of what happened would probably be right. She pulled back on the arrow, trying to blink away the sleepy air that still lingered around her. She could only imagine how Caspar felt from yesterday's events, as she herself couldn't stop thinking about what it all meant. Then she bit her lip when something popped into her head and her arrow flew, hitting the outer ring of the target. Embarrassed from such a bad shot she hid her face behind her hair and shot another, satisfied with where it hit. It seemed odd the way Caspar spoke out the quest, like it meant an almost certain death for whomever went. The thought made her grip on the bow tighten and she swallowed hard, face paling in the slightest.

Caspar was distracted by another bow hitting the target he was aiming for. Both of them struck, the first on the outer ring and the second on the bull's-eye. He looked over his shoulder. Holly was standing there, her face a tad paler than usual. Caspar waved hello to her, feeling his lips ease in a smile.

Helena went back to shooting. She strung the arrow and pulled the string of her bow. Her aunt had given it to her before she left for camp. All her father gave her was a slight smirk. Her blood boiled momentarily before she released the arrow. A split second later, the arrow hit the target with such force that the target tottered backwards and fell. Blushing, she rushed over and put it back in place. Going back to where she had been shooting, she saw a raven watching her. She glowered at it and whispered, "What do you want dad?" It flew off cawing merrily. Rolling her eyes, she shot her target again, with less intensity than the last one

Holly's eyes strayed from the target and over to Caspar when she felt her looking at him. For some reason her arm wouldn't move to give him a wave back, staying tightly on the bow. Instead she gave a nod in his direction, his presence making her smile a little, though some was forced.

Arching an eyebrow at Holly's near-unresponsiveness, Caspar let loose one last arrow, which hit the middle ring. He dropped his bow and arrow in the equipment bin and strolled away, most of his anger having been used to demolish the five targets. Now all that left was sadness and uncertainty. Strange traits for a son of Dionysus.

Deciding she was done, Helena put her things away and called Fletcher to her, who had been sitting some feet away from her, knowing her habits of loose-cannon firing of arrows. She headed back to her cabin, lost in her own thoughts.

A breath escaped Holly's lips when everyone left and she dropped the bow and arrow in her hand, plopping down on the ground. After a moment of quick thought she realized that what she needed was to talk to Caspar. After finishing up the last of her training she put the equipment away and left. She stopped short for a second, remembering Caspar's not-so-happy mood. Silently cursing the reason for his anger she strode slowly toward the Mess Hall, head bowed in deep thought.

Madeline walked down to the archery range. She picked up her bow and fondly ran her finger down the wood.

Soyala looked at her. "Whats happened?" she asked walking after her.

"I don't know," Madeline sighed. "It's getting worse."

Soyala looked off into the distance. "Has anyone told artemis?"

Elena walked to the archery range to watch. She saw Madeling and walked over. Nemo followed behind her and SHockwave sat on her shoulder.

Madeline shook her head. "The last time Georgiana and I went, she wasn't there..."

Soyala nodded. "We should not be here, we should be sick."

"What do you mean?" Madeline asked.

Elena saw Madeline and waved. "Hi Madeline."

Soyala looked at her. "Here, at camp halfblood, we are hunter, there are other places, we are only sick here, before i can every hunter i knew wasnt sick."

"Hi, Elena," Madeline replied. She turned back to Soyala. "We don't know what's happeing. We're just going to wait. There's a new prophecy."

"I need to tell you something about the abay owls, Madeline." Elena wanted to tellher badly. Shockwave chirped and gripped Elena's hair harder.

"What about them?" Madeline asked quietly. It was apparent that she hadn't gotten a good night sleep in a while.

"Since they can't live in the wild and be released, me and Hayley decided that we should keep them, as pets. There were three. Hayley has the other two." Elena pointed to Shockwave, the charcoal owlet on her shoulder. "This is one of them. I call him Shockwave. Hayley has one for you, if you want it." Elena explained.

Madeline blinked. "Oh, um, sure..." For the time being... What's going to happen to it if I get too sick to take care of it?

Elena nodded. "Great. If you need any help caring for it, just ask me or Hayley. Do you wanna come see it? Hayley's in her cabin." Elena insisted.

"Uh, sure," Madeline said uneasily.

"Come on then. You know, you don't have to come." Elena blinked.

Elena nodded. "To Apollo's cabin."

Madeline slowly made her way down to the Archery Range, Luma perched on her shoulder.

Soyala watched them , she sighed and shot arrows.

Madeline stroked the owlette perched on her shoulder. Luma cooed.

Elena walked over to the archery range to watch and saw Madeline. "Hi, Madeline."

"Hey." Elena smiled. Nemo sat beside her and Sockwave was perhed on her shoulder. He let out a small tweet.

Luma cocked his head, the started climbing down from Madeline's shoulder. Madeline blinked; she didn't seem to notice...well, anything.

Shockwave shook his head and twitered again. Stay with her! Elena smiled and walked over to Madeline.

Luma let out a muffled hoot. Nuh-uh. It's way too hot up there. Madeline picked up her bow once more.

Shockwave shook his head. Stay! emo noded. Do as your brother says. Elena sat down and watched.

Madeline ran her finger down her bow, fond of the maple wood. She paid Nick no attention, as she wasn't impressed.

Luma hopped onto the ground. He peered at the other boys suspiciously. Madeline pulled an arrow from her quiver and drew it back against the string. After taking careful aim, she let go, hitting the target dead center.

Elena clapped for Madeline. "Nice shot! Good aim." Nemo barked with pleasure. Shockwave hopped dow to his brother.

Leo changed his color fur, red.
"Crap, Leo is red."
"So?"
"Red means anger."

Madeline shrugged. "It was nothing," she muttered sheepishly. Luma hissed at the leopard. I don't like it.
