3rd Gathering
Flamewhisper followed her sister to the gathering. It would be the last time she could be coming to a gathering in a while.
((Okay.))
Nightpaw followed, still ruffled over Bluewing's disappearance.
Dovestar sat down with her sister before leaping up on the Great Rock.
Embermist breathed in deeply. Her first gathering as a warrior.
Sunpaw trotted into the hollow, beaming as he joined his Clanmates. He sent occasional glares towards RiverClan.

Sunpaw trotted into the hollow, beaming as he joined his Clanmates. He sent occasional glares towards RiverClan.
Sparrowpaw padded past Sunpaw, going to join a group of apprentices from all four Clans to see what they were chatting about.
Ivypaw padded towards ThunderClan, nervous. It was her first gathering without Appleheart.Stonetooth padded to where the medicine cats were.
Sunpaw watched Sparrowpaw trot past him and closed his eyes.
Dovestar murmured in agreement.
Nightpaw gazed at the Great Rock, noticing none of the leaders have jumped up yet.
Embermist watched the apprentices, some of them she used to talk with often. She sighed wistfully, remembering she was a warrior now.
((Oops, I edited comment number 4))

Sparrowpaw laughed at a joke one of the apprentice's made. She looked behind her, looking for familiar faces. She spotted Sunpaw and Ivypaw, but her gaze passed right over them.
Sunpaw stood up, opening his eyes again. He looked away from Sparrowpaw, focusing around for any other ThunderClan cats.
Sparrowpaw padded away from the group, who were now telling amazing hunting stories, and wandered around the clearing.
"That's usually something someone says when they break up with someone. Or when they're delivering bad news." Sparrowpaw replied.
((Sorry.))
"No," Sunpaw shook his head, blinking in confusion. "I just wanted to say...when we were fighting that fox...it felt...just, so familiar. It was like us again, when we were younger and getting into trouble all the time. I-I miss that."

((I've been waiting! *sniffle* I've put off my bedtime for you!))
"Like that time we basically sauntered into ShadowClan territory thinking we could tell them not to steal prey?" Sparrowpaw grinned.

((I'm sowwy!))
Sunpaw nodded. "And how we tried to escape several times from Blackfrost. Even Hollywing tried to step in." He chuckled upon being greeted by the unexpected memories.

Sparrowaw laughed, it was a nice, warm laugh. She hadn't heard herself laugh like that in a long while. "Remember when we were stuck in the medicene cat den for like a moon?"

"Ah," Sunpaw rolled his eyes. "The better times. After you got to leave, I was stuck in there for StarClan knows how long since I had a broken leg after racing up the Great Sycamore with-" he stopped, his enlightened mood suddenly darkening when he thought of Sunstorm's name. His gaze fell on the ground in front of him, but he quickly shook off the heavy feeling.
"Ivypaw?" Sparrowpaw asked, her mood also darkening. "Sunpaw, I'm sorry about the fox thing. I-I didn't know what got into me..."
"What do you mean?" Sunpaw cocked his head. Sparrowpaw had saved him from the fox. What in StarClan's name could she be apologizing for?
Sparrowpaw looked at her paws. She lowered her voice so that only they could hear. "Sunpaw, I'm just going to tell it to you straight. There's no use catmint-coating things." She glanced around, a little bit paranoid. "When you were trapped by the fox..." Sparrowpaw looked for the right words to say. "I was ready to... just sit there... and..." she choked out the other words. "watch you die."
((Catmint-coating things = sugar-coating things, since I don't think they know what sugar is and catmint is the sweetest thing they've got.))

((Haha, nice, Sam.))
Sunpaw stared at her for a moment, then blinked, snapping out of it. "I understand." he replied simply.

((Hey guys. I am just letting you know that I am having my wisdom teeth out today, so I am not going to be on for today and problem most of tomorrow.))
"'I understand'?" Sparrowpaw repeated. She scoffed. "Yeah, well I hope you do, Sunpaw. I don't want that to ever happen again, not to you or any cat. So this talk is officially over. Goodbye Sunpaw." With that, she turned and walked away toward Leappaw and the WindClan apprentices.
"Bye?" Sunpaw watched her leave, sighing. You hated me, so I do understand, Sparrowpaw. I thought we were...actually friends again. Shoulder slumped, Sunpaw stepped back one, tilting his head back so he could see Dovestar as she leaped on the Great Rock.
"Hi, Ivypaw," Sunpaw sighed.
Dovestar gazed down among the Clans, trying to pick out the leaders.

Sunpaw shrugged, glancing back to the Great Rock. He couldn't get his mind to focus on the current situation. It was reliving the past. All the great memories he'd had when he was a younger cat, and every adventure he'd shared were playing in his head.
Sparrowpaw went to sit alone on the edge of the clearing and looked at the Great Rock. And Dovestar on top of it.
Dovestar sat down, curling her tail around her paws. Where are the other leaders?
Sunpaw's gaze picked its way across the cats for several moments. It landed on Sparrowpaw for a heartbeat, then moved on to scan the other Clans.

Sparrowpaw spotted Sunpaw sitting with Ivypaw. Her heart fluttered, but Sparrowpaw forced it down.
Snowleaf glanced at Sunpaw. I'd better tell him, since the other warriors might not listen, she thought slipping towards him.
Sunpaw couldn't stop squirming. He waited impatiently for the other leaders, willing the gathering to begin so he could focus on other things.
Sparrowpaw saw Snowleaf move toward Sunpaw. She was curious, most of the medicene cats stuck to the medicene cats. As curious as she was, she willed herself to stay put. Being 'curious' got herself into a lot of trouble before.

Dovestar led RiverClan down into Fourtrees, skidding to a halt gracefully beneath the Great Rock.
