I hope they find good unknown actors and actresses.
I know, right! Unknown actors and actresses are always better for me when I actually really want to see the movie. If they get like a Disney or Nickelodeon star, that would so totally ruin it.
I hope they get actors that have actually read the book, and know what they are doing. Because then the actors are going to be like "I have no idea what this is." And trust me when I say that neither of us want that. Because it is just wrong.
Normally the actors and actresses end up reading the book before they actually shoot the movie. That way they can get more in depth with the character.

I kind of hope this does not become a movie. I loved the books too much and want them to stay books.

I agree with most of you, who suggest to cast unknown actors and actresses. That way none of us have pass judgement on celebrities we all know. And if they do end up picking unknown actors/actresses, hopefully they are good looking as the characters in the books. LOL

I really wonder who would play Rose and Dimitri... I hope they don't mess up in the movie by asking someone with red hair to play Rose or something, I mean that is what happened in the Vampire Diaries TV series (Elena from blonde to a brunette and all of us were like WHAT??) LOL :P
They probably will... Movies are NEVER as good as the books themselves....

I still like Garrett Hedlund, but Jared Paladecki would definitely work as Dimitri as well.I don't like Odette Yutsman, she looks too old to be Rose. My favourite is still Anna Popplewell.

Odette Yustman is too old. Phoebe Tonkin has a more gothic look to her. I think Rose needs a more youthful look. Google "Anna Popplewell 2011"

There are so many books I want to see become movies and this is one of them. I really hope it becomes a movie. (:

if they're going to make a move based on this books, it better be good cause if it isn't many fans of the series will be very displeased and disappointed!!!!
I think they could make it into a TV series. It's not on that much of a large scale so a TV budget wouldn't cause problems.If it does become a film I vote Oliva Wilde as Janine Hatherway.

I said that Jared Padaleki would make a good Dimitri but that got me thinking.Who do you think would win in a fight? Rose Hatherway and Dimitri Belikov or Sam and Dean Winchester?
Just between those four. If the Winchesters had Cas then they'd obviously win. :P
