Ok so Fred and Wilma were fish in their fish tank. A cat saw them and tried to eat them out of the fish tank well it knocked it over and the tank made a loud sound the cat ran and the fish fell out of the tank. They suffocated. they are surrounded by water because well water is everywhere from the tank seeped into the carpet.

Ok so theres a 5 gallon bucket and a 3 gallon bucket. Youre standing near a river and youre told to get exactly 4 gallons of water. How do you do it?
No there arent any lines on the bucket indicating how much water you have in there.

are the buckets the same width and are slightly taller then each other or the other way around

Same width and yes the 5 gallon one is taller. It has to be to hold more water. But none of that matters.

Nope. Just you, the buckets, the river and of course your brain. Its quite simple if you think about it.

but it can matter see if they are perfect cylinders i can stack my hands up to the top of it and take the number of hands and find out 4/5 of them then see how high that is on the bucket and that will tell me what 4 gallons is on the 5 gallon bucket I mark that then fill it up getting exactly 4 gallons.
