One of the polls was whether or not people wanted to have monthly diusions on books. The vote was yes. We were going to a dicussion but it didn't happen I think maybe we should choose a new book and retry. Like maybe one of the newer books that many of us have just read or haven't read at all like: The World Above: A Retelling of "Jack and the Beanstalk" or Violet Eyes: A Retelling of the "Princess and the Pea".

Good idea! Also (for me, at least) it's easier to track down the newer books because more of my local libraries and bookstores have them. (but maybe that's just where I live)
An idea I just had: we read a bunch of dif versions of each story. Maybe 3 or 4 or month. Just whatever we can find. I could be funner to discuss and help us see more of the story. No two stories are the same, plus so many of these stories are so old there is no 'first' or 'original' version of them. What do you think?
Perfect! Because most fairytales don't have an "original" anyway. Plus, reading different versions is fun. That's the reason I started reading the Once Upon a Time series anyway.
sounds fun. If it's ok Emily, I'd like to try The Storyteller's Daughter again. I never commented because I never finished the other book. It was long, and harder to read since it was written so long ago. Sound good?
@ Naomi I really like your idea and it sounds good. Another thing we could do is watch some of the movies that go with the books like ex. (we read Belle you could compare it to Disney's beauty and the beast, Spirited, the original story, beauty, and so many other books and movies.)
Maybe August 20th or so, so people have a while to read the book and watch movies and such or whenever you feel would be best.
