I suspect what they mean is if you do a search on trees growing in Brooklyn results are returned Tree grows in Brooklyn,
A Tree grows in Brooklyn.
Sonsoles - this is the way the book titles have been imported from source i.e. Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
Okay, this situation is more of a mess than it appears.http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/15...
I added the "A", then realized that the author is "Maggie Smith" rather than the actual author "Betty Smith." I suspect this is an error, since the original added of the entry didn't provide any other information and I can't find any record of a Maggie Smith writing a book with that title. Any reason I shouldn't change the author and merge? Though since there is no info at all, it should probably be deleted.
Thanks - done.I think that Betty Smith needs some work, btw - I'm pretty sure a lot of the books listed under her name are by a different author. I'll go post at the thread that's about that, since I wouldn't know how to do it.
I don't know very well how to explain it, I made a search of "tree broklin" in the search engine and I had several... (without the ")
I found one more and fixed it. Not sure why it didn't come up the first time, but the search engine is baffling.
You are misspelling "Brooklyn", which forces the system to search at Amazon or B&N. Books show up individually then, regardless of how they show up here. There's also the actual novel v. Sparks Notes issue. Try this search instead.
