Was there anything good??I don't understand why all of Mrs. Meyer's characters are more skilled than their peers... in Bella's case, she's apparently so smart she doesn't have to pay attention in class, and Bree has, as you said, amazing self-control.
...Jane was in it....i want her power...but other than that...no.me neither. her characters are always so perfect...even though i find them to be retarted when it comes to common sense.
I'm not even sure if there was....she really had no emotions that i could feel. and Edward was in the end. dummy. *grumbles*
You should, really. In order to become a better hater you should read all the books, so your not basing your assumptions upon what others have said.Heh, the irony.
Really? I tried reading the Host but less than a chapter later I got really bored. Afterward I just stopped reading it altogether, and I probably never will again.
It's way to much like Animorphs, though. I think it won some award for being terrible. The sentences the judge showed to back up her statement were really sad. Like, hilbilly sad.I also read a summary. It sounded like crap.

The Host is better, I read it, but that doesn't make it great. Just better than Twilight, which seems pretty easy to come by.
Does anyone other than me notice that the 'reporter' said "simularities" instead of "similarities"? The 'reporter' seems kinda thick...
The reporter does seem like she was kind of laughing but overall she just seemed like another Hollywood airhead idiot to me.

the characters: flat and lifeless. the main charcter was a dumb chick who was (with no explaination) very in control of herself. the main love intrest? boring. i felt nothing for him.
the plot: sorry to say, but it was predictable.
Response?: well duh! you already know the ending.
my response?: then why wright the book!?
the romance: i didn't get it. did she like him? did e like her? what was the point?
the writing: sluggish. the dialouge was awkward and not very well written. the whole story just kind of plopped along. i kept stopping and thinking about something else. i couldn't focus on the story.
overall i give it 1 star. nothing happened. it was boring and slow. not interesting.
