Not to be late to the party,but I absolutely despise Kristen Stewart as Bella. Her screeching in New Moon was like fingernails on a chalkboard.

To be fair the writing for the first two movies were pretty bad. Everyone was in such a rush to get the movies made that if they had spent a little more time the cast and the writing would have been perfect.

I agree about the writing in the first movies. I did not like the first movie at all. It was flat out terrible and I was embarrassed that I drug my aunt to see it with me and have her hate it as much as I did. Then I had to convince her that the books were so much better! Kristen Stewart has grown on me a little bit over the course of 3 movies. She gets less twitchy in each movie which is good but I still don't see her as Bella. Close but not quite.

I would not touch the wolf under any circumstances. If they killed Bela and Edward off in some movie script extreme plot twist, Jacob could still fill a theatre.
