Name: Victoria (often called Vicky) Hinton
Age: 17
Looks: Vicky is tall and well muscled. Her straight honey-brown hair is usually tied up in a ponytail. Her amber eyes are hard from working in the forge a lot, but can lite up when she's laughing. She NEVER wears dresses, on no circumstances. She is always seen with shorts and a tank.

Personality: Vicky is hard working and loyal. She loves to laugh, but never interupt her when she's working. The equipment she makes is always useful and handy. She loves greeting and helping newbies find their 'nitch' at camp.
Weapon: Vicky is fairly talented in all forms of weaponry. This comes from always testing out the tools she makes, wanting to make sure that her work is perfect. However, the one she is most skilled with is the dagger. She can either fight at close range or throw them with deadly accuracy.
Other: She has a soft spot when it comes to animals and keeps many tiny critters in her bunk.

Nicknames: DJ, Delicatessen.

Looks: Black wavy hair often picked up in a ponytail and hazel eyes with a small scar on her thumb for scalding herself once.

Personality: She loves eating popcorn and more specially, ham, which earned her the nickname Delicatessen. She often makes little ham wrappers that she carries around in her bag. She is somewhat shy, claustrophobic. She prefers to blows glass rather than to forge metal, although she is quite skilled at that too. She is obsessed with fulfilling her mother’s last wish: to find the veil and necklace Hephaestus gave Cadmus on his wedding day (that also caused the ruin of Thebes).
History: She was quite content with life as a normal girl living with her mother in downtown Delaware when her father Hephaestus visited her once when she was nine and revealed her identity to his daughter. She was delighted she found out her skill: blowing glass and forging delicate metals. Suddenly, when she was 13, he mother became sick of the infamous swine flu and died, leaving her. Before her mother died, Danielle swore she would fulfill her mother’s last wish.
Powers: She can sometimes bring her creations to life. Sadly, it only works when she is very powerful and with her miniature glass creations.
Weapons: A dagger made of celestial bronze with an opal at the base.
Fatal Flaw: Overdetermination.
Other: She never wears dresses, expect when there’s a ball (like the Amphitheatre Dance there was last month.)

Name: Candice McKay
Age: 13
Personality: Candice, much like her name is cheerful and bubbly, probably the happiest of her half siblings. She is a bit larger than the rest of her age, but is quick and nimble on her feet and fingers. They’re constantly moving, pushing hair of her face, unbuttoning her jacket, or picking at her nails. Candice is rather rough, but she is gently at the same time.

Candice usually wears a jacket and comfortable pants in walking in and doing work. Despite her petite figure, Candice is very strong and would be able to tear you apart. She has dandly, awkard limbs.:D

Jon has brown hair, pale skin and warm brown eyes used to the light of the forges. He stands at 6 feet. He rarely smiles and has a scar in his right forearm. He is dyslexic and has ADHD like any other demigod, but he also has dysgraphia; reason while he prefers to type rather than write.
Personality: He is sarcastic and impatient, he has this amazing glower that can even intimidate a Phobos guy. But he rarely uses it. He can be quite the character, and in parties is the life of the party. He plays the piano.
Other: His skill of choice is forging.

Name: Phoebe Hayden, Daughter of Hephaestus
Age: 17 as of 2011

A rare glimpse of her left hand


Looks: Turquoise eyes spark wildly with emotion, rarely shadowing her inner thoughts. Wavy shoulder length tresses are softly kissed by sunlight (or most cases a forge's glow). Lean and slightly muscular, she fits the typical blonde, blue eyed stereotype except a grotesque pickling of skin upon her left hand. Usually, the deformity is hidden by long sleeves or gloves.

Personality: Phoebe despite the encouragement from her mother is still rather insecure about her hand (a birth defect) which has been the ridicule by classmates. Being poor didn't help matters either! For the longest time, she remained quiet and obscure by hiding in the shadows and becoming the wallflower up until home ec and shop class. Working with her hands became the needed therapy (or muse) to break that shell. It wasn't that Phoebe was shy as much as she was defending herself by hiding. Years later brought about a gradual change but she's still a bit of a dunce in social situations, often babbling to a point of embarassment.

Dealing with her deformity and being poor became Phoebe's achievement -- to prove to herself that despite those odds, she CAN do things! Her determination can in turn be her downfall, being far too stubborn once her mind's set. And when teased, defensive barriers like a prickly pear appear.


Weapon: Sharp-Pointed End Bead Reamers. Throw one of these and an eye can go missing. She's rarely without her small leather satchel of reamers (a gift from a teacher). One of these days, she'll learn to use a real weapon.

Other: Phoebe's new to camp. Joy, her mother, lost her job at the paper mill in Ohio. With employment in question for the future, Joy relented and brought Phoebe to the camp so "my daughter can have a better life."



Taking pity on his daughter, Hephaestus made a deal with Hecate in order to gift Phoebe with a special bracelet. When worn, the pain and disability from her left hand is lessened enough for her to grip heavier weaponry/tools for a few short hours. Her father never revealed what the cost of the bracelet was for him but she suspects in the future, she'll be required to pay off the debt.

Phoebe's talent lies in crafting filigree jewelry and baking cupcakes. The meticulous work in jewelcrafting came to her in a dream/whisper and the solace in the shop has eased her social anxieties. Baking cupcakes is due to her mother who says cupcakes can make anyone's day brighter. When she has no idea what to say, Phoebe will give a cupcake in hopes it'll build friendships. Plus, they taste good! YUM!

Relationships:
* Candice - Phoebe met this unclaimed girl during her adventure to find the forge. She's curious why a boar attacked Candice and hopes her god-father finally claims her.
* McKenna - This Heph-sister was working in the forge when Phoebe first arrived. The suggestion to carve designs into the metal and some gemstones pleased McKenna enough that her sister offered a 50-50 cut of the profits.

Name:McKenna Finley
Looks: She has very long dark blonde hair that gets in her way a lot, which has lead to some people calling her Rapunzel. She has gray green eyes that rarely sparkle, unless she is doing or talking about someone/something she likes. She has pouty lips, which she bites often, especially when she is creating a weapon. She is often seen with messy, frizzy flyaway hair, and she doesn't really mind. Most of all, you could say that she has a haunting look.

Personality: She seems very serious and uptight, but when you get her talking, she talks about things she likes and can get slightly off tiopic. She is very determined and likes to get things done. If you piss her off, it is said that you can see a hint of a volcanic fire in her eyes.

Other: She is very into volcanoes, which is what she wants to study in college. She is very into them like her mom was, which is how her mom met her dad, who is also the god of volcanoes. She does this because she remembers her mom that way. She can't really do anything having to do with volcanoes at camp, though, except at the lava wall, where she can practice being in an environment similar to that of a volcano. Because of that, she took up working with celestial bronze and making weapons. She is very good at this and campers from the Ares cabin and other campers who love to battle seek her out constantly. She is excellent at hand to hand combat, but she doesn't have a weapon that she has really been accustomed to. She stays year round. She has been here for eight years.

*Phoebe- McKenna currently has a partnership with her 'Festus sister, and gives her some of the money. She loves her sister, and is very close to her. McKenna is very protective of Phoebe, and hates it when anyone dares mess with her.

Name: Sven
Looks: He is skinny for a son of Hepaestus and has short cropped black hair and green eyes. Not tall as many of the other Children of the Smith God but not short. He is around 5' 11" tall. Sven is often seen wearing band t shirts and leather combat boots.
Personality: Sven is clever though, doesnt really enjoy going to the forge and hammering out great sheets of metal to make armour and weapons. He would rather make more clever and delicate devices like clockwork animals and weapons.

Other: Sven is armed to the teeth with his Repeater Crossbow and his close combat weapons, dubbed Wolf Claws, which are gauntlets with long curved knives made fore ripping and tearing. A very finesse weapon they are. He is a deadeye with the crossbow, but only uses it to kill monsters, never against fellow campers because it is far to deadly.

Name: Rosetta Clax

Age: 16

Looks: Rosetta has a dark black hair, with extensions and prints in it, that is cut long in the front and shorter in the back. She is pretty short (ever seen Lucky Star? Rosetta is as tall as U-chan), but her personality make up for her short size. Rosetta specializes in making weapons and other, unusual trinkets, so she will always be begging for some bolts, a screwdriver, or any other metal/tool. Rosetta wears the Camp Half-Blood shirt, but spray-painted it black. She also wears jeans, and inch high platform boots. She has a lip ring, and bright eye shadow, usually red and green.

Personality: Rosetta has a dark personality, and likes to make things that are for destroying. She likes it when people can relate, or compliment her weapons, because she puts all her soul into her weapons. Rosetta also is good at the game BS and can keep a pretty good face, and also is pretty good at lying. Rosetta is very headstrong, and doesn't take much advice. She also zones out when she gets bored, so she failed all the things her foster mother tried to teach her.

History: Rosetta never met her mother, and she could only remember the orphanage that she lived in. She was causing problems at the orphanage, but no one would adopt her. So a woman took her into a foster home, and from there on things just went from bad to worse. Rosetta had been on the run because her foster home was becoming to much of a problem for her (she got to bored, and went back to making her little objects, and she didn't learn much, though somehow she is not stupid). The woman in charge began to hate her because she caused problems, and didn't like learning. So Rosetta decided that it was to much for her, and she left. She found the camp, and just asked if she could stay there. People were skeptical of the her, until Hephaestus claimed her and she became a camper.

Personality: He is a very nice and always has the urge to help others. He usually forgets to take care of himself before saving others. He never leaves anyone out and hates bullies. He is an adventurous guy that loves to run, preferably at night, with the peace and quiet. He loves to swim and plays soccer. He loves to build things, especially things that can fly. Lately, he's been interested in things that can go under water. He loves to take pictures and edit them with a computer that he built. Also, he loves to make videos. He is a fun loving and very entertaining guy.

Name: Imia Belle
Age: 16
Looks: Imia has green eyes, tan skin, is about 5'6", with dark brown hair that doesn't quite pass her ears. Usually wears ripped jeans a T-shirt and a pink cap. She has a scar on her right arm. Her smile will make anyone want to smile to. She is immune to fire.
Personality: Imia likes to help people, and joke. She laughs in the face of danger, and doesn't like letting people down. When people ask about her scar, she just grins. She'd rather fight monsters than tell people about her past, if anybody tried to hard to get her to tell them, she'd glare at them until they stopped. If that doesn't work, she knocks them out.
History: Imia was fine living in her Florida home, where everything seemed perfect, until she found out that she's a Half-Blood. Her mom died when Imia was 9, a year after Imia found out about her dad being a God. She couldn't stay in Florida with all the monsters attacking, so she started searching for a safe place to live, until she was guided to Camp Half-Blood by a satyr.
Other: Imia has a tendency to take on tasks that are to big for her. She is afraid of snakes because of something that happened to her as a child .
Her Scar: When Imia was 12, she tried to fight a Basilisk, and she didn't succeed. (Hence the 'Taking on of things to big for her'.)
Weapons: A bow and arrow, a Sax knife (it looks like a small ax knife), and a throwing dagger.
Fatal Flaw: She doesn't know when to quit.

Name: Nial Kennet
Age: 17
DoB:6/21/1994
Appearance: Clothes: Shorts and a t-shirt normally. Height: 6'1 Body: Slim and fit. Nial's not big on forges but when he gets around a fire he can be a bit of a pyromaniac. Hair: Black, short & spiky. Eyes: greenish-hazel in the winter time, change to a more yellowish-hazel in the summer time. Skin: Slightly tan. It appears to almost glow in fire light. His left ear is pierced. He has a birth mark of a redish skin toned colour it is a birdish-shape(crane)on the back of his neck it appears to be outlined by a faint firey design. Most people have thought it to be child abuse at an early age by being given a badly made tatoo.
Powers/Abilities: He can manipulate fire and heat. He has almost mastered the ability to conjure it out of thin air. When he is really powered up in the heat of a battle his hair seems to smoke and rarely burst into flames. He is very creative and invintive. In the winter he has trouble doing much of anything because all of his energy derives from the heat of fires. He pretty much loses all ability when exposed to low tempratures. He also has a bad time controling his " inner flame" when asleep which can be a little messy and he has trouble keeping his bed clean of ash and smoke residue due to a series of bad dreams during which all end in him bursting into flames.
Personality: He is a very shy person and he is easily tempered. When he is with a friend he tends to goof off and be more talkative, but very few see this side of him. He trys to stay away from people that would cause him to get upset because he is scared that he might lose control and go on a burning rampage. He enjoys keeping to himself and playing in fire, literally playing in fire. He likes to watch things burn and he lets his imagination soar in the flames. He is a very trustworthy friend to anyone who is kind enough to say hi to him.

Life for Nial was hard when he was younger. He grew up without a father or a mother. He was moved around alot for house to house, and family to family. All gave him up with some excuse like," He's a troubled child, and we have no room for him." Nial always felt like the outsider and only felt secure near a fire as if it were his only friend. Things really turned sour for him when he was about 10 he was put inan orphanage run by an anceint looking woman who had an almost beak-like nose and when she talked it sound like a crow attempting to regurgitate an object much to large for its throat. He began to expierince more than security around fires. It was almost as though it knew how he felt (when he was constantly being yelled at for things he did not do)as it danced from the fire place and across the room and onto the curtains and down the hall spreading gracefully and rapidly into every room of the building. He made it out and so did everyone else except the old lady. Instead a lage bird-like monster known as a harpy took her place. He escaped the fiend after being intercepted by a funny looking beggar who turns out to be a satyr. The harpy only caught a peice of him before she was killed. He now has a scar leading from the top of his left brow over his eye and hooking off jagidly at the ridge of his jaw bone. He made it safely to camp and was claimed shortly after his 12th birthday. His father Hephaestus gave him a sword shaped like a flame with a crane and donkey image engraved on both sides. The blade has a magical ability that helps Nial channel his power.

Dean has bright blue eyes and short black hair. He's always smiling, even when he's mad. Of course, he doesn't like to voice his thoughts.
Personality: Dean is very polite and old fashioned. He tends to keep quiet about what he's feeling, so you'd really have to push him to hear what he's thinking. He's very family oriented and is protective of his younger siblings.

Powers: Dean can create weapons with the barest of materials, at very fast speeds. Just give hime something to work with, and he's off.
