Matt walked outside his cabin picking at the ground. He climbed on the roof and watched below him.
Victoria sat down on her bunk, petting a tiny mouse. "Hey there Mr. Squeakers," she cooed to the animal.
Hayley strode into the cabin and quickly informed the campers about Caspar's party. "Party at Dionysus Cabin, starts at nine!" She turned and left for the next cabin.
Vicky looked up and smiled. She placed her grey mouse on her bunk and told it not to move. She then walked out.
Dante and Vanessa walked in, making out and rubbing each other.
Vicky walked back in. "Can't believe I forgot my swo-" she stopped in midsentance as she noticed what she was walking into.
Dante pulled back for a moment. "Hottie," he said, then they fell onto his bed, the two not noticing Vicky.
Vanessa tried to pull away. She started to panic. She didn't want this. Dante was adorable, but she wasn't about to make out with someone she barely knew.
Dante looked at her. "Hey, it's okay... I got pressured. I don't know if I want to do this."
Vicky stepped back inside and rolled her eyes at the couple. After the "Flags" meeting, she couldn't wait to try out the new sword she had made.
Vicky raised a brow at Vanessa and Dante. "I think Dante might need to go back to his cabin," she advised.
"Uh... Yeah." Dante said with a sheepish smile, and followed after Vanessa.
McKenna was putting some finishing touches on a sword she planned on selling to sny camper for a couple of drachmas. She finished and looked at her handiwork, while smiling, which was a rare thing for her. It was perfect. Now, she was going to wait for customers. In the mean time, she was going to go out and about.
DeAndre walked into the cabin, and plopped down onto his bed "What should i build " he thaught to hiself.
Vicky entered the cabin with her ususal smile, body slightly shiny from sweat. "Hey," she greeted, noticing DeAndre.
McKenna entered the cabin, sweaty from being in the forge for three hours. In her hand, she grasped her newest creation: a keris. It had a beauty found in only assymetrical(sp?) swords, and it glinted in the light. Her long wheat colored hair stuck limply to her head, and she panted. She needed to take a bath.
For those looking out the window, two dots on the horizon approached. Outside, Phoebe kept ducking her head while trying not to bolt out of excitement, worry, joy and nerve! The commotion of opposites was enough to make any teen batty but she managed to cool her jets and remain in Caliban's arms. The slow and casual walk felt like the red carpet at the Grammy's. And now it was time to face the crowd.Working up the nerve, she sucked in her breath and turned a smile at Caliban. "Are you certain about coming inside? My sisters are inquisitive by nature."
McKenna wiped off her sweat, and looked out the window, because she heard some people talking. She was shocked, pleasantly. Phoebe was hanging out with a gorgeous guy! She felt lucky for Phoebe. She deserved someone who was that hot. But, she silently hoped that he wouldn't abandon her sister, if they were together. Phoebe deserved the best guy, both on the inside and out.
"Ah, well, I've faced worse things than questions in my day," Caliban said with a chuckle, giving the soft curve of her shoulder a squeeze. The easiness, the outgoingness, that he'd felt all his life magnified to a comfort level he hadn't even dreamed about. And all because of this sprite, this fairy that had such talent for jeweling.
Phoebe. Fee. French for fairy.
Phoebe. Fee. French for fairy.
"This is Hephaestus Cabin. We invent. Who knows what booby traps lie beyond these doors? Ooooh." Phoebe playfully wagged her fingers in her best ghost impression. "Scary." She giggled and hurried up the steps with a bounce. Caliban lifted her spirits and every step felt like clouds. Walking on clouds. And the best part was she didn't have to fidget terribly with her glove."McKenna?" She hollered before entering and holding the door for Caliban since he was carrying the boombox. "We have company!"
((EE! I love fairies!))
"Okay," she shouted. She froze for about 2.7 seconds and noticed the joy present on her sister's face. She would do the whole 20 questions later. Right now, she would try her best not to freak out the guy, who she recognized as Caliban, with her sweatiness.((I lurve the fey too!))
"Oh hello," Caliban shouted out cheerily. "Caliban Everett Millais at your service, ladies and gentlemen! I bring..." He twirled around to brandish the gleaming silver stereo. "A delightful treat from far, far away! Enchanted so it plays the charming Bubble music that is custom for my land. I hope," he continued, sweeping the occupants of the cabin a graceful, fastidious bow, "it will be to your taste. It is called a ray-dee-oh."
McKenna smiled and looked at Phoebe. "Charming. Does it also come with some tools?" She turned so that Caliban wouldn't see, and she mouthed the words He's HOT! You're lucky to her sister.
Phoebe giggled behind the hand covering her mouth. Eyes squinted in delight. When they opened, she sought out McKenna to judge her friend's reaction. What do you think? was mouthed.Back to Caliban, she waved him to the main common area of the cabin. "This would be the best place for playing Bubble music. I cannot guarantee its safety. Our weakness is tinkering." Just imagine a shield ray-dee-oh during Capture the Flag!
She mouthed He's- WOW.. He seemed like a really nice person. She laughed and said "Well, this ray-dee-oh seems like a great addition. Thank you, Cal."
"Well! I seem to have stumbled on a land of great richness and prosper...osity!" came the exclamation, made with near-genuine widened eyes and a huge delighted grin. "Off we shall journey, then, to the land of Bubbles and enchantment!"
He danced over to the middle of the carpet and hit PLAY, rushing back to take Phoebe and McKenna in his arms to dance. "We have not so many lovely ladies, where I come from," he said, and winked a secret smile to Phoebe.

Phoebe snorted at his antics, rewarding him with a broadened smile. "Where you come from, there may be fish slapping dances. Should McKenna and I duck frequently?" she teased, then joined in the 3-way dancing.
"I guess we should, sis. We might risk our balance if we don't, " she joked. She was happy that her sister had some guy to hang out with. She hadn't seen her this happy in a long time.
"Ah, no. It's out of season for hunting for fowl," Caliban said, using that terrible pun with a satisfied smile, twirling one sister after the other as Buble's voice floated from the speakers.
"You're stuck with fish!"
"You're stuck with fish!"
McKenna facepalmed at his corny joke and shook her head, but she allowed a smile to escape her while she attempted to dance.
Phoebe threw a little swing and jive into her twirls and steps. Mother and her picked up some moves from an old neighborhood granny that missed her children and grandchildren; together they filled the gaps of a family and routinely had dinner every Friday night. She flashed a smile at Caliban and McKenna on the next turn, then wiggled in an exaggerated dip. Bllllurrr-wiggle! "Fowl joke. Penalty for Caliban. Two strikes and you get thrown into the box."
Twirling them both away from him now, arms raised, a sporting grin on his striking face, Caliban eyed Phoebe with honest and blunt appreciation. He'd never learned how to dance properly himself (as he thought Phoebe had); the extent of his training was his aunt and her husband teaching him when he was smaller. Classical ballroom waltzing had been thrown in with the foxtrot, twist, and swing.
"Oooh, it hurts me that my incredible sense of humour remains unappreciated," he chortled.
"Oooh, it hurts me that my incredible sense of humour remains unappreciated," he chortled.
"Appreciation is earned with wittier puns," Phoebe countered, blushing as she glanced away from that look of his. Thudda-thump and a oh-boy heart flutter quickened her breath and she had to set a hand to McKenna's shoulder for balance. "Isn't," she gulped to catch another breath, "right, McKenna?"
McKenna reached out for Phoebe and steadied her. "Yes, of course. Which is why François de la Rochefoucauld said 'Idiots and lunatics see only their own wit'."
Caliban pouted though he knew they were merely taunting him-- his eyes still sparked, he was not at all offended. "I never was the smartest camper in the cabin," he offered with a regretful shrug. "Can't be helped."
A nose wrinkled in doubt at Caliban's proclamation; Phoebe shook her head regretfully. "There's more wit in you than you've realized. A dummy would have left me on the ground than help carry me safely to the cabin."
"I'm not completely inanimate," Caliban said with another rueful one of his grins, eyes alighting delightedly to watch the adorable crease in her pert nose.
