I will let you know.

:)

I really, really wish I could join you, bro. I ho..."
Each to their own, mate. Hope you enjoy it.

That actually looks really interesting. I'll probably be joining you in a couple of days.

Sure. What does a buddy read involve?

"Simple. We both read House Of Leaves, then discuss what we thought of the book after we're done, or during reading if you want. I've done a buddy read-it's fun."
Sounds good! I'll probably start on Tuesday.

Yay, I'm so happy that for found another buddy for HoL, Kyle! I hope you guys enjoy it.:) Will Janie be joining you, as well?

Devil in the White City was one of my favorite reads last year

I'm again finding it to be interesting and exciting and a great read

I really liked The Alienist a LOT. The psychological aspects are fascinating! I hope your 2nd reading is as enjoyable as the 1st (possibly even more so.) Did you know that there's a 2nd Dr. Laszlo novel?

What's the name of the 2nd Dr. Lazlo novel, Dustin?"
The Angel of Darkness

I haven't read that, no. It sounds good though. I'll have to have a look. Got so many books to read it ain't even funny, haha

I found it very uncomfortable reading. Certainly one of the most powerful books I've ever read. Made me feel guilty for reading it because it's almost like you're watching the events with the narrator.

Hi Dustin and Kyle~I finished The Alienist last night and did enjoy it as much as the first time. The story is amazing and Carr's attention to detail about the times and events of the time are so interesting
I do know about The Angel of Darkness~I've actually had it for many years but never read it..maybe now I'll get to it

Sounds great, Joanne! I hope you enjoy The Angel of Darkness as much, if not more, than The Alienist!

The Alienist was awesome. Excited about book 2 but not sure when I will read it :O

Yeah, the second installment sounds promising, doesn't it, book-sister?:)

It does; and I picked it up immediately after reading The ALienist. :)

I cannot wait!!!

Aww, another challenging book! Sounds right up my alley! I think I'll enjoy it very much.:)

Hmm... I wonder how you'd fare with Atlas Shrugged, brother..
