Reading The Maze Runner by James Dashner. It is quite the thriller. I am more than 200 pages into the book, it's a page turner.
Christopher wrote: "Shadowland by Peter Straub. 200 pages in and they finally managed to get to the main setting, so to speak. I know I sound like I'm complaining, but I actually really enjoyed the setup. I'm curious ..."Sounds promising, Christopher.:) You'll have to let us know your thoughts on it, once you're done.
I'm reading a book called Resistance by Owen Sheers. It's a novel about the fictional invasion of Wales during WWII. It's obviously fake but very little of it is about the war, it's more so about the human condition while the war is going on.
I've finished reading The Last of the Mohicans by James Fenimore Cooper yesterday. Now I'm reading Visions of Sugar Plums by Janet Evanovich.
Had every intention of starting on The Pillars of the Earth this morning but ended up reading a sample of The Pale Kingand got hooked from the very first sentence.

I highly recommend Pillars of The Earth.:) Once you're done with it, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.
I've already finished Visions of Sugar Plums by Janet Evanovich, which was a short but hilarious novel, an now I'm about to start reading The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Sarah Addison Allen.

Thanks Dustin and Courtney. I will be sure to let you know what I think about Pillars as I'm hoping to start in on it next week (I have a feeling The Pale King is going to be a very fast read).
Finished Where We Belong by Emily Giffin this morning. Now I'm reading Mile 81 by King for a quick read tonight.
This month I am reading. Assassin's Apprentice, Hyperion, and I am listening to the audio of The Magician's Nephew and Hearts in Atlantis
Kathryn wrote: "I am reading The Shining by King!"such a great book; no movie can be made to capture the story told by King.

I can't wait to read it. I kind of...I know this is sick, maybe.. hope it scares me!
Kathryn wrote: "I am reading The Shining by King!" The best King book I have ever read besides Under The Dome. The Shining is an amazing movie and book (The Kubrick movie, not the miniseries.)
Alondra wrote: "Currently reading A Storm of Swords!! Love this story :)"The entire series is truly amazing, IMO! Enjoy it, Alondra.
Alondra wrote: "Currently reading A Storm of Swords!! Love this story :)"OMG!!!! This one is my favorite book in the series. You are going to jump out of you seat.
I had to hit a real erotica.I could take 50 Shades Darker and had to start reading Addictedby Zane just to prove that all erotica novels are not equal.

Thanx Dustin and Veronica! I love this series. As with any series of books with wonderful writing, i am not ready to see it end, so book #6 needs to get here... or is it 7?? :O

I tried to like Fifty Shades of Grey... just couldn't take it seriously!

I read the first page and found it boring. I am amused that I read in EW they've re-released The Sleeping Beauty trilogy by Anne Rice because of the popularity of 50 Shades.
Hi, you are very welcome, Alondra.:)I really love this series, as well...almost as much as The Dark Tower books.

I think that's ok...at least I hope so. I'm disappointed if I read a supposed horror novel and don't find it scary lol

Hey Christopher! I think you put it in better terms than I did. :)
Kelli wrote: "Now I'm reading 11/22/63, by Stephen King"So you finished The Dark Tower, I take it..?
Kelli wrote: "Now I'm reading 11/22/63, by Stephen King"LOVED that book! Don't get discouraged by the size. It is completely worth it!
I've finished reading The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Sarah Addison Allen this morning and now I'm about to start I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith.
Still reading Come Along With Me but also picked up Bury Your Dead, which I have to/chose to read for a class. Bury Your Dead is better than I expected so far.
