I have all these on my TBR pile!
MY guilty pleasure is those bodice rippers that you see on the shelf with the heroine on the cover in a long dress and the hero usually embracing her in a very incorrect manner for the time period.
Well I guess some might consider my Harlequin love a guilty pleasure. I've been reading them for over twenty years, and I will always read them.I'm completely addicted to urban fantasy. Something about it that just completely seduces me.

I LOVE urban fanttasy also! You should try reading some of Richelle Mead's books. Thorn Queen is really good.
I am addicted to paranormal romance, and i've started branching out to the eroticas but they take some time getting used to.

The Undead series by MJ Davidson; liked the first 2 but the series has kinda gone down hill. For me, they are a guily somewhat pleasure..
My guilty pleasure is those "rape you till you love me" plot devices. There's just something about a hero who thinks he can make you love him with his penis that tickles me.
Wow, that is the one plot line I can't stand and hate with a roaring passion, rape. It is ugly and so not needed in any romance book. Now, if it is hero that makes love and the heroine wants it, then I can see your point..
I love those plots where the hero and heroine hate the sight of each other at first and then gradually fall in love. Particularly the ones where the heroine is held captive by the hero.
My #1 Guilty Pleasure is the Club Shadowlands Series by Cherise Sinclair. Totally hooked on the BDSM storyline. Not into the real pain or torture, though.
Well, My guilty pleasure is my obsession with the Black dagger Brotherhood series Zsadist especially and John Matthew too!I absolutely can't get enough of them I even made my own character video's of them I posted it some where on another thread but here take a look please leave a commit if you like I'd appreciate it :)

My guilty pleasures are the betrayal storyline (although not into adultery unless it's fabulously written and believable) and Diana Palmer books (which I've just discovered):-)Arch - Love your video, nice choices!! (not how I pictured Butch, but it works, and they're all gorgeous:-p!)
I love paranormal romance, especially the young adult ones. Actually just young adult books in general, lol!! I haven't been a teenager for 8 years (I'm 25 and married)!!I also really really love Amish books. Their whole life is interesting to me. I also recently read a book about polygamists, called Hidden Wives, so now I'm wondering if there are more books like that out there.
Ellora's Cave really is a hit and miss isn't it? I ordered an ebook from them a few weeks ago. The excerpt sounded really good, but the book completely fell flat. I'll have to check out DearAuthor.com and Josh Lanyon. Thanks for the tips!
I read the really poorly written stuff you can get at the Adult Bookstore. They're not even books per se, just a type of magazine-ish paperback. Everytime I buy something there I'm hopeful it will be good. I also have a TON of Harlequins, some dating back to the 50s. I don't care that people look down on them (ahem, my older brother), but I cut my reading teeth on Harlequins at age 10 (1978-thanks mom!) and I learned my extensive vocabulary from them since I had to look up many of the words I didn't understand. How many 10-yr-olds know the definition of laconic, curt, sarcasm, scowl, indolent, patrician, patronising, mocking, indignation, chiding...well, you get the idea. lol
