Tara | 9 comments I'm a new librarian and I've been reading the manuel and other things here and I can't quite figure out the ebook situation.

In the last 2 weeks I have come across at least 15 ebooks where the isbn number matched my edition but the page numbers are completely wrong. I use epub and my reader doesn't do percentages. But before I started changing page numbers I just wanted to check, is it some other format that it is giving the page numbers for? Should I just add an epub edition and make the page numbers correct?

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Sandi (sandikal) | 39 comments I've been changing the number of pages if the ISBN is the same. When I check a book's details on my Nook, I've found that the number of pages listed in the details is sometimes way off. The Passage was off by over 200 pages.

Ralph Gallagher | 200 comments I believe the standard is PDF pages, not epub.

The book i'm currently reading, Ghost a la Mode is marked as 312 pages on ebook and Kindle. I have the Nook version, and it's 212. So, according to what I'm reading, it would be alright for me to change the page number of the ebook edition to 212? I'm considering the ebook version would be the Nook, as the ISBN's match.

I'm still new to the e-readers, and asking if Nook's are epubs or PDFs?
