I'm listening to random songs (in english and german) with our foreign exchange student, my mom, and one of my sisters.

message 4575: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) That's neat, so I take it your foreign exchange student is from Germany?

message 4576: by Briana (new)

Briana (brianals) | 15203 comments Mod
Correctamundo. :P

message 4577: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) I went to school last year with a German foreign exchange student, which was really neat.

message 4578: by Briana (new)

Briana (brianals) | 15203 comments Mod
Do you know any german?

message 4579: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) Nope, none of us really did but a friend of mine was taking advanced German so he could bridge the gap for us.

Ok. Sooooo...... What book are you reading? :P I'm reading 'The Fire' by James Patterson.

message 4581: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) I'm finishing To Kill A Mocking Bird by Harper Lee for my summer English project because it is due soon.

After that I'm not really sure as I have a handful of selections. The Fire is one of them though, how do you like it?

It was really good (I finished it btw), but be prepared for lots of blood. I now started to read 'The Arctic Incident' by Eion Colfer. It's the second book in the Artemis Fowl series.

Since it's been over 14 days, I'm just going to post to make sure that you people haven't forgotten about this thread. So who watches Grimm????

message 4584: by Jacquelyn (new)

The Artemis Fowl series is great! (Thanks for the opinion on Fire, blood doesn't bother me though)

message 4587: by Jacquelyn (new)

Jacquelyn (jacquelynreads) I am currently reading Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver.

message 4588: by Briana (new)

Briana (brianals) | 15203 comments Mod
I've heard. That's one reason why I'm reading it. The other reason is that it actually sounds interesting. You're welcome for the opinion. And blood doesn't bother me either.

Irene (wingdesilverii) Yep, just bragging rights. You just have to be the last post for 24 hours and then it starts over agian.

Grimm is good.

Briana (brianals) | 15203 comments Mod
I watched the season premiere of Bones too. It was pretty good. But I was kind of lost, because I hadn't watched last seasons finale. I've also been watching Grimm. I think it's more interesting than Bones though. Just my opinion.

You should check out the books that Inspired Bones. They are so very much better than the TV show.

Lol. Thankfully I had one of my sisters and my dad to help explain stuff.

The last few seasons have been more about personal stuff moreso than the crimes, and I didn't like that very much, so... but I did like this one, it was suspenseful, and I hat Pulont.
