Taylor We had to read the introduction to "The Odyssey" in English class a little while ago, so we had to take notes. One part was about the author-Homer. So one of my classmates started talking about Homer from the Simpsons. That's what I thought of after reading Lyla's comment.

Who else likes frozen yogurt? I went to Josie's (frozen yogurt) today and it was so yummy.

message 4261: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) I love frozen yogurt, particularly homemade fresh raspberry or cherry or peach frozen yogurt my boyfriend's mom makes.

I'm not sure how she does it, I just know it takes a little bit of time.

message 4266: by [deleted user] (new)

My dad made homemade frozen yogurt. Sort of. He basically just took a container of yogurt from the store and stuck it in the freezer. It still tasted good:)

message 4267: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) That's a quick way to do it, I just know she makes everything form scratch.

message 4268: by [deleted user] (new)

Probably yummier:)

message 4269: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) She said that I could help next time she makes some.

Then could you post the recipe on here?

message 4271: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) I asked, she says she just makes home-made yogurt and then makes it frozen in an ice-cream maker. Apparently she doesn't have a recipe and just does it from experience (kinda like she starts with a certain amount and then adds certain things as she goes due to what is happening).

Irene (wingdesilverii) Briana :P wrote: "Then could you post the recipe on here?"

I asked if she had a different one. Here is her recipe when she doesn't have time to make yogurt. She says that you can substitute flavorings and fruit as you desire.

3 cups (720 g) plain Greek yogurt (either whole-milk, lowfat, or nonfat)
1 cup (200 g) sugar
Desired flavoring, for Vanilla use 1 tsp

1. Mix together the yogurt, sugar, and flavoring. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
2. Freeze in your ice cream maker

Like I said people, my teaacher was...less then apreciative. He's extremely old (92) and also kind of scarry, so him yelling at me is not good.
Fun fact: his last name is Saur, pronounced SOUR:)

Sounds like you should practice in order to avoid such.

message 4288: by [deleted user] (new)

Answer this, who doesn't like drinking Coke using Twizzlers like a straw (answer only if you've ever done this)?

I was drinking some black cheery soda using a twizzler as a straw the other day. And Irene won. Again.

message 4293: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) Cool (on winning and your drinking of soda), I found some Twizzlers I like. The blue 'sour' kind that a friend coaxed me into trying.

message 4294: by Briana (new)

Briana (brianals) | 15203 comments Mod
YES! Now you like twizzlers (even if they are the blue sour kind)!

message 4295: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) I still can't stand the others though...my friend has a serious liking for the blue sour kind and licorice (which I like on occasion).
