I know! They're soo cute. The google logos I mean. I've actually saved some of them they're so cute. And it is hard for me to not read fanfictions for lent. But at least I've been catching up on my reading challenge of 150 books this year.

It's actually pretty easy (according to them) as far as finding other things to eat; but yes giving up dairy for that long would be hard for me because I love lots of dairy products and that is the first thing they give up.

Good luck! I don't even know how to play an instrument. I'm not sure if I want to learn how to play any.

Whitney :) (wvn1998) | 1808 comments Haha thanks :) Its getting so close! Today I went shopping with my brother and we both got new outfits for it! He got a new suit and I got a new dress. I love shopping so much! Spending 4 hours in Kohls is always fun :)

message 3557: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments I bet, Whitney. I wish I could do some more shopping but I'd rather save my money up for my Europe trip this summer (it's pretty expensive, but not as bad as it would be if I was just going with my family on a vacation)

message 3558: by Whitney :) (new)

Whitney :) (wvn1998) | 1808 comments Yeah, we're learning about Europe right now in Geography class!! Where are you going? I just found out today in band that in 2014 that our band is traveling out west to perform and stuff! Super excited!!!

message 3559: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Cool! We're going to Austria and Germany. A choir that I'm in does an international tour every four years.

So I take it you guys aren't required to wear concert black, all matching dresses for girls and Tuxedos for the guys?

That's awesome, not sure when our next one is since we did a big one with the Washington DC fourth of July parade two years ago.

I would like to go to Germany. One: because I'm learning german. And two: because I think it would be cool.

asiyah Rae: I know! I'm glad I'm back though!

Briana: You're learning German? that's so cool.

message 3568: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Briana- I wish my school offered German, it'd be so helpful this summer.

Asiyah- WOO!

It was pretty great, incredibly hot and humid though and we marched for about eight miles in FULL uniform. Nice thing was they kept us very hydrated.

Briana (brianals) | 15203 comments Mod
I hate being that hot!

message 3572: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) Yep, and polyester traps heat like you wouldn't believe.

message 3573: by Briana (new)

Briana (brianals) | 15203 comments Mod
I'm glad I wasn't you. And I know how hot it can get in DC.

message 3574: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) I enjoyed it but DC in July is not fun. We did get to consume as much water as we wanted though and we got alot of food after we had showered and changed to watch the fireworks.

That's nice. I think I just watched the fireworks on the tv.

message 3576: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) They were pretty but I don't think I would deal with the crowds just to see them.

message 3577: by Briana (new)

Briana (brianals) | 15203 comments Mod
I don't I think I would either. I don't like big crowds. ^^

Haha, yeah you must've been dying. But it's great you got to stuff yourselves afterwards and got to see the fireworks.

I would probably mostly just go for the food.

Yep, and the food was great :)

Briana (brianals) | 15203 comments Mod
What kind of food did they have (if you can remember)??

message 3582: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) Anything and everything, it was a big buffet.

message 3583: by Briana (new)

Briana (brianals) | 15203 comments Mod
I would have loved to be there!!!! I love buffets. If you like pizza and endless buffets, go to Cici's Pizza. It's wonderful! And they don't just have pizza. The desert things are really good, but I've only been there once and that was in Florida. We have one near us, but we haven't gone to it yet , even though I really want to.

message 3584: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) It was nice :)

Is anyone else, besides me, disappointed that there isn't a new episode of 'The Secret Circle' on tonight????

I don't watch a whole lot of TV..........

message 3587: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments I believe you've won, Irene (I'f I've done my math right. Darn GR being in the Cali time zone only...)

message 3588: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments Californians...:(

message 3589: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Haha that's what I'm sayin', Kate! (Don't worry, we still love all you Californians just as much as we always have) I wish that they could add the different time zones to make it a heck of a lot less confusing.

message 3590: by Briana (new)

Briana (brianals) | 15203 comments Mod
I didn't know they had only one time zone on GR.

message 3591: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments I hadn't actually noticed that before. I thought the times were in the right time zone...*feels oblivious*

That makes sense now *lightbulb moment *

message 3594: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments I still don't know how I missed that. I even remember doing conversions when I was in Ireland...apparently I was always three hours off.

Irene (wingdesilverii) Kate wrote: "I still don't know how I missed that. I even remember doing conversions when I was in Ireland...apparently I was always three hours off."

Me neither, I just figured what I was looking at was clocked differently than what I thought it was.

message 3596: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Yeah, there's a stupid three hour difference on the posts it gives an actual dates to (after 24 hours have passed from when it was posted)-- cause I know that I didn't get on at 1:30pm on a school day.

message 3597: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) Right, or at 2:30 am
