Oh no, not the bacon thing again. The only reason I don't "like" bacon is because I am a vegetarian. When I ate meat I loved it. :D
I'm not really into midnight premiers for movies. Too crowded for my liking. Hopefully I will see it sometime during the first weekend though. I really can't wait.

Ah!Okay!
I can't go at midnight, but I'm hoping to be able to go on Friday (3/23) night when my good friend is going. (He's surprisingly not going to the midnight showing)
Yay cannot wait!!! I had a dream last night I was in the hunger games but it was set on the sinking titanic!
My mom is watching 'Pride and Prejudice' right now. It's so boring. I'd rather watch 'The Hunger Games'.

Did anyone else give up something for lent????? I gave up fanfictions, because I have been recently addicted to them. And I've been on the computer for hours reading and finding new ones. But not since ash wednesday. :( And I know people have updated! It's so frustrating not being able to read them when they've updated.
My church doesn't do lent either, but some people just decide to do it for fun. Like me, my sister (Paige), and some of my friends. Probably other people too, but that's all I know of.
That's about it. If you want to know more you could look it up on google or ask or (I don't like this one) bing.

But no..."I don't participate in lent so nope, my boyfriend does but he is Roman Catholic so their lent is the one where you have dropped all meat and dairy by the last two weeks.
It's a learning experience to eat over at his house during that time and I think I could do it every year just not for the rest if my life.
Gonna chime in here- Lent in the 40 days (not including Sundays) right before Easter. It's a time of preparation and cleansing to prepare for Christ's resurrection much like Advent is for Christmas. It's a Roman Catholic thing to give up meat on Fridays unless (or so I've gathered) you do a kind act (an Act of Contrition I think it's called. I could be wrong, though). All Christian churches observe that it is Lent, but some may not 'do Lent' like having their congregations give up something/take on a good habit, but i know many people do it anyways to prepare themselves on their own.

Meat isn't just given up on Fridays it is given up for multiple weeks (neither of them are available to ask right now but I know it isn't just Fridays) .
Wow that sounds so hard!!!! The only thing I've ever done like that is the 40 hour Famine. I gave Electronics up for 40 hours and it was really hard. Goodluck to the people doing lent. :) oh and btw i hate bing! It set itself as my browser automatically but I changed it back to google. I love google, espicially the little google pictures that they make as their logo sometimes.
