People do, but it's a lot less of an event than it is in America, which is what Nadia is referring to I think (NZ/Aus are pretty similar). Like, if you live on a busy street you might get trick-or-treaters, but we haven't had any in the last few years.

The reason we don't celebrate it is less of a cultural thing though, and more just that my family's never been into spooky stuff.
