asiyah Yenna: Cali pride!

Rae: It would be. :D

message 2852: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments I can just picture it now! It'd obviously be the only thing on the news for about a week at LEAST.

message 2853: by asiyah (new)

asiyah And everyone would be freezing because they wouldn't have proper clothing for the freezing weather.

message 2854: by [deleted user] (new)

you guys are so lucky! I'd love to live where it didn't get cold

message 2855: by asiyah (new)

asiyah Lol, it's cold everywhere at some time. But here in SoCal, the temp could get up to 90 degrees even in the winter.

message 2856: by [deleted user] (new)

that sounds perfect to me:)

message 2857: by asiyah (new)

asiyah It can actually suck a lot. Going to school when it's 101 degrees is the worst.

message 2858: by Arienna (new)

Arienna | 353 comments Haha, yeah, summer is nice here. Winters are usually about 60, 50ish range. thats cold for us. (below 50, that is.) At least in Central Cali. SoCal (Souther California) might be different...

message 2859: by asiyah (new)

asiyah Yeah, below 50 is considered to be quite cold as well.

message 2860: by Arienna (new)

Arienna | 353 comments Bbbrrrrrr...*shiver, shiver*

The coldest weather I've ever been in was -40 degrees C. I was in Canada, visiting extended family for Christmas. I'm not sure what that is in F...to lazy to look up one of those converter-thingy-boppers.XP

message 2861: by asiyah (new)

asiyah Wow, the negatives...that just scares me.

message 2862: by Arienna (new)

Arienna | 353 comments It was pretty cold. Like On-the-verge-of-frostbite-to-any-exposed-skin-for-more-than-2-min cold.

message 2863: by kento (new)

kento (daechwita) | 589 comments ha! win!

message 2864: by asiyah (new)

asiyah Yenna: Okay, now that is REALLY scaring me.

azumangadaioh: You wish!

message 2865: by Arienna (new)

Arienna | 353 comments Huh. So I looked up - 40 C and did it on done of those C to F converters, and -40 C is the same as -40 F. I KNEW THAT!!!!

message 2866: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Haha, wow. THe coldest (that I remember) it getting here is around -10 degrees F, most of the time it doesn't dip below 0 degrees F, though. But that's only in the winter. In the summer it's like 110 F at the highest i can recall- but heat is worse here because there's so much humidity. Often in the summer months you can basically drink the air. It's horrible.

message 2867: by asiyah (new)

asiyah Eww...drinking the air.*shudders*

Here, it gets really hot, but it's super dry and burns.

message 2868: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments I'd rather have the dry heat-though not the extremes, mind you-than the humidity. It was one of the first things I noticed when I was in Indiana for a week this summer-- no humidity.

message 2869: by kento (new)

kento (daechwita) | 589 comments WIN :D

message 2870: by [deleted user] (new)

last year it got to -15 F where in massachusetts, it was ridiculous

message 2871: by kento (new)

kento (daechwita) | 589 comments :D

message 2872: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments yeah, dry heat is nice. im glad it donest get very humid. 55 is freezing for most of us >.<

kento (daechwita) | 589 comments Kyle the Eccentric, Clever, Optimistic, Idealist wrote: "I actually prefer the colder weather, because that way when you put on different clothes (Jumpers, scarfs etc.) you get warmer. In summer when you take off clothes it doesn't get any cooler...."

Yeah!

Whitney :) (wvn1998) | 1808 comments Haha so this dude from marching band works @ a grocery store and he told me this hilarious joke! so he's like paper or plastic? Customer: I don't care i'm bisacual!!!! Haha tht just made me laugh! Ask if u don't get it :P

message 2875: by asiyah (new)

asiyah Lol, so punny! ;)

message 2876: by natalie (new)

natalie | 5047 comments Haha that is funny :)

message 2877: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments That's pretty good.

But I laugh at anyone who thinks below 50 degrees is cold. No offense or anything. Just try living in the Northeast for more than a month during the winter.

message 2878: by Kate (new)

Kate | 8205 comments That's what vacations are for, I guess.

message 2879: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid Try living where I live... I don't where it is in Fahrenheit, but we get to -25, -30 degrees Celsius here. The summers only get up to about plus 20 or 18, but our winters...
UGH

message 2880: by Arienna (new)

Arienna | 353 comments Heeheehee! I'm going to Australia for a vacation! I leave tonight, actually.

message 2881: by asiyah (new)

asiyah ARIENNA, I AM SO JEALOUS!!!!!

But i hope you have a great time! :)

message 2882: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Kate- yup! Right there with you! I don't live as far north as you do (just a few state's difference) but I know how it gets. Yeah, 50 degrees is pretty dang comfortable

message 2883: by Whitney :) (new)

Whitney :) (wvn1998) | 1808 comments Wow thats cold.....

message 2884: by [deleted user] (new)

O_o that is really cold...

message 2885: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Way lives in Canada. :) In the province of Saskatchewan. Oh man, I sound like a real creeper right there. Sorry if you felt that way, Way! (hehehe)

message 2886: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid It's okay, Rae, I'm not disturbed by your creeper-ness.

But yeah, I live in Western Canada and it really freezes here. I hate January and February. So. Much.

message 2887: by asiyah (new)

asiyah Now THAT sucks. And I thought that today's 67 degrees was cold...

message 2888: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Dude, 67 degrees? I LOVE weather like that!

message 2889: by asiyah (new)

asiyah Wow...I wonder what it would be to live in a place as cold as that...

message 2890: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments In Canada? Must be cold. :) I like the cold most of the time, though.

message 2891: by Sayyeda (new)

message 2892: by Arienna (new)

Arienna | 353 comments You mean the indoor water park at the West Edmonton Mall? Its pretty cool, I've been there once or twice. VERY fun. But I don't know how to ski, and I've never tried. Is it very fun?

message 2893: by kento (new)

kento (daechwita) | 589 comments Yaaaaaaaaaay! 17 days more 'til Christmas!

message 2894: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid Skiing! Hahaha, actually, when my family went to Banff a few years back, we were amazed by all the Australians that were there. It seems you`re not the only one who wants to skiing.

Unfortunately, where I live is a flat wasteland so downhill skiing is lousy.

Right now it`s only -17 degrees Celsius, so it`s not awful, but certainly not nice or anything. According to the conversion calculator, -17 C is about 1.4 F.

message 2895: by asiyah (new)

asiyah OH MY GOSH, IT IS 69 DEGREES RIGHT NOW WHERE I LIVE AND I'M STILL A LITTLE CHILLY IN SHORT SLEEVES. HOW DO YOU SURVIVE?!

message 2896: by Arienna (new)

Arienna | 353 comments Its 70 degrees where I am. Um, not to sound stalkerish, but where do you live, G-luv? Just generally, like what country?

message 2897: by asiyah (new)

asiyah I could have sworn we already went over how I lived in SoCal and you lived in Central Cali...or maybe I'm wrong. O_o

message 2898: by Arienna (new)

Arienna | 353 comments Oh. Yeah. You're right (like always...)

message 2899: by asiyah (last edited Dec 08, 2011 06:02PM) (new)

asiyah Lol. :D Not always. Just most of the time.

Easy. I just stay inside for six months and refuse to stick my head out the door ;)
Well, no, but you get used to it, Asiyah. I've lived here all my life so I don't even know what it would be like to live somewhere warmer.
