True, true. Random side note that isn't completely random: I ordered the first two books in the Percy Jackson series from the library.
Taylor- That really sucks. I'm sort of in that kind of situation- my school is TINY and so regardless of if you don't like someone, if they're in your grade, you'll see them every day for at least a period.Kate- That's really great. My two best friends and i are like that- we take each other at face value and are our crazy selves with each other.
Way- Oh wow, that's insane.
I sort of know what you mean, Taylor, because my Honors math class and Latin only have one section each, and AP European History has two, which means that a LOT of people in those classes are also in my others for scheduling reasons. Luckily, we all get along (and Latin is the weirdest class of all), but if we didn't there would really be a problem. And Way, that is very good news.
Well, here's one example of the problems it creates: In my AP Gov class, we have pretty much every single AP/Honors student who's a senior. We had a mock trial thing where we split into teams and debated, and there were judges for each pair of teams. The judge for the teams I was a part of was an ex girlfriend of a guy on the opposing team. Every time he spoke, she scribbled something down. While my team's argument had been completely B-Sed five minutes before class, the other team had a well-constructed, valid argument. But my team still won. Even though we agreed to forfeit because we sincerely disagreed with the verdict.Later on? The ex girlfriend judge made the comment that the other team never could have won, because her ex boyfriend was on it. He's one of the smartest people in the class. So, yeah. Problem.
Taylor- Wow, sounds like a case of bias and clouded judgment. That really does sound unfair and not like a good environment. Denice, you can post anything, but it would be nice if it followed suit with the topic at the time and doesn't mess up the flow.
Uh, I'm Way, but yes it is a bit extreme. You like to think people and put aside their own personal experiences if they'll participate in such a contest.
For my debates, the judges weren't allowed to know the members of either team previously.
Taylor- Yeah, I see what you mean. That's a bit insane. Although I think the teams/judges should've been better planned out. Because that probably could've been avoided. (From what I'm understanding.)Denice- like Way said, you can technically post anything, but we tend to keep a conversation going so it'd be nice if your comments would be something related to what the current topic is.
Haha, Hi Whitney!Way- it just was a mock trial. You're given some information for each side and then you come up with arguments.
Mock trial or not, it feels like maybe a teacher or someone could have judged, but just my own personal opinion. I'm one of those competitive people who gets way into these kind of things and wants everything to be fair and orderly.
Way, I'm sorry, I have no idea why I did that. Whoops.Anywho. Don't get me started on the way that class is run... It gets ridiculous.
It's fine. I didn't even realize it until you caught yourself, Taylor. (Imagine if you went by "Tay" on here... And we get confused with just Way and me!)That sounds pretty crazy. I'm guessing its not that great?
whitney: haha, yeah me too.but reading previous things, sounds pretty unfair about the mock trial thing. I totally get what you mean Way, I'm like that too, always complaining how things aren't fair, but everyone just says stuff like 'life isn't fair'
Wihtney and Giulia- Nah! Don't worry about it! YOu comment when you can. Tay, Way, Kate and I are all crazy posters with oodles of time on our hands (Well, except for Tay this year)*looks up at beginning of post* Way! You've got me doing it now too!
Haha of course, we need to take into account how crazy I already am- just ask Nat. I apparently am really crazy because of one of my tweets this morning.
Everyone has different schedules- it's nothing against any of you for having other things to do than comment in this group.
Taylor wrote: "I like it cuz hardly anyone I know personally uses it. It means I can say what I want without a crap ton of questions."I know nobody, so yes, I definatly agree. Tumblr? Friends. Here? Friends? Facebook...well... And message me too!!
And I forgot....but I've officially known y'all for a year now. :') Well, most of you.

Yes, yes, you were in the car... but they way you put it... ;)
I was pretty close to Way..... And we haven't had awards yet, have we?
Kate wrote: "Not the best class, Taylor?"No, it's not. I kind of yelled in the middle of it on Thursday cuz no one would shut up and I was super frustrated. And the teacher goes, "Well that was unnecessary." Yes, it was, because YOU AREN'T DOING YOUR JOB. It wouldn't be necessary if you were! >:(
Anywho. :) Hehe, Way Rae Tay! I like it. And I'm off to post the list right now, hold please.
Exciting! In six grade we were doing group work, and two of the kids would not pay attention, and so I lost it and yelled at them. The teacher was angry at them not me, fr the fact that I had to yell. I like my teacher better I guess.
Yeah, I had that problem this summer- I was getting into so many different things that I shoved GR to the side.*Krayonder* WOAH! Tay's posting the list ON TIME? What is this???
Taylor- yeah, I hate teachers who can't teach/control their class/don't do anything about the trouble makers.
Nat- At least i DID wait until I got into the car before tweeting. Ya gotta give me that.
Kate- My tweet? *looks up exact tweet* "That moment when you're running around the house like a chicken with its head cut off cause your ride will be there in 5 and ya just woke up" (YOu should be appreciative I apparently tweet a lot so I had to go back pretty far to find this...from Friday morning. XD )

If I acted like I do here, or broadcast the books I enjoy and all that, well, they wouldn't be giving me strange looks. They'd be lecturing me and telling my parents that they need to look after me more.
