And yes, weddings are quite happy-making.
Son of Neptune... That's Rick Riordan, right? I still need to read his books.

Kate- The library near me got 5 copies and had them within the week of release (Friday i think it was) and my brother had put a hold on it. And for books like that, we pass them around- whoever put the hold on gets it first, then him or me depending on the situation, and then MAYBE to my little sister.

Taylor- It always scares me a bit, but it's pretty awesome.
Way- Congrats to him!

I really want to read SoN. My school's library hasn't gotten it in yet, though. I guess I'll have to put in a request next time I'm there.

Our library system has a lot of copies, but there are a lot of people with it who put it on hold.
You really should Way.

Whitney- Not at all! I think it's great! (I'm just a TINY bit annoyed with the chatspeak bits in that post- cause that's one of my pet peeves if you aren't in a chat room or texting)

I find it really hard to read chatspeak. It doesn't take as long to write when you use letters and numbers, but for me it takes so much more time and effort to read.

Hey Nat, why do you always get on when I'm getting off? #stupidtimezones #its645inCali

Whitney- It's pretty cool. I've been using it a lot more than my facebook for the past two weeks.

What's your handle?"
I was so tempted to do the Not Alone thing, Rae! I'll message you my handle. :)

Crazy friends are the best!

There are so many people whose personalities I just do not like. But in order to remain in a good standing in the honors program, you kind of have to be friends with everyone. And there are certain "circles", but I tend to be a part of all of them somehow because it leaves me least likely to be a part of drama. And I am everything I'm expected to be in those circles: the nerdy, slight loner who can be kind of funny but generally follows the rules.
My "theatre family" knows me better than anyone. The people who knew me before theatre but then got to see me in theatre were surprised when they saw Theatre Me. Theatre allows me to be my goofy, nerdy, crazy, yet introspective self all at once. It's wonderful.

Crazy friends are THE best :)

For me, it's never really been an issue. Sure there are people who look at me strangely. But there are also plenty of people who don't (AKA my friends) and even the ones who look at me strangely don't think I'm so weird that they can't ask me a question about schoolwork or something. And you should see some of our facebook conversations. They are definitely *not* edited to avoid strangeness.

I'm still waiting for the Son of Neptune to come in at the library for me. It might take a while.
